MY GIRLFRIEND IS A WITCH

!! if you're witchy this might be a little inaccurate bc i don't follow with that as much as i used to  and there's definitely a lot of inaccuracies based of rituals and what certain meanings are. if there's any huge problems, let me know and explain it to me and i'll fix it up a bit

This is also based off my own (only) deck of tarot cards I own by the way. these are limited edition from idk where i got them but yeah they are shiny and have pictures and i love them so deal with my explanations and keep an open mind. And yes i did do a reading on a relationship which isn't real womp womp i needed something to work with like really badly !!

Y/n was always seen as aloof. Weird, an oddball. A free spirit finding her own way. Truth be told, she liked it that way. She liked when people talked about her in the hallways thinking she couldn't hear them, she liked when people stared and wondered 'what was wrong with her'. Nothing at all honestly, she was just a little different and there wasn't anything wrong with that.

It started when she was five. Her deadbeat father always treated Y/n and her mother like they were nothing. After he left, Y/n's mother needed to figure everything out on her own. How to pay for the house, the internet, TV, food, other bills and thing's needed around the house. She had a friend mention a friend of hers who was very spiritually connected and suggested that Y/n's mom go and have her energy cleansed. Have a full factory reset on her mind. Purify all the evil that was placed on her by Y/n's incompetent father. Of course this introduction to the witch was nothing short of extraordinary. It was a whole new world that was opened for the L/n family and Y/n's mother welcomed it into their lives warmly. By the time Y/n was in middle school, her whole wardrobe had changed. Her life was similar to that of Sabrina the Teenage Witch. Minus the spells.

She began dressing like her, seeing her mother's wisdom in Sabrina's aunties. She wore crystals her mother gave her, drew rune's on all her notebooks. Y/n often times had friends come over, and these friends would normally see past Y/n's interesting aesthetic, and welcome her as a kind, loyal, and caring friend. Until Y/n's mother would burst in. "I'm trying to cleanse! It's the first of the month!" Y/ns mother would shout unabashedly, caring around a sage as she scented the room. It was a new tradition the first of the month, Y/n's mother would cleanse the house to get rid of any and all negative energies accumulated within the last month. "We're trying to watch a movie mom!" Y/n whined in embarrassment. She brushed her deep dyed red hair out of her face and rushed from the bed. She grabbed her mom by the arm and tugged her out of the bedroom. "I'll cleanse my room later!" Y/n sighed deeply and slammed the door shut.

Many, many, full moons later Y/n had brought home her first boyfriend. Matt was a very sweet boy, and Y/n mom admired him deeply. Everything about his calm and shy personality couldn't have made a more perfect match for her bubbly and outgoing daughter. She knew they were destined to be together from the moment Matt walked in the door. Y/ns mother clapped as she pulled Matt further into the home. At the time, the couple was only fifteen. Still casually dating, trying to get a better understanding of each other. Matt loved the autumn time. He loved that Y/n reminded him of autumn even during summer. It's why he loved her so much. "How about I do a reading on you both!"

Matt looked back at Y/n nervously. She warned him about this. He was okay with it, even though some of his own beliefs didn't align with theirs, right now all he wanted was to kiss his girlfriend, but he figured it'd have to wait and he'd have to appease the mom first. He took a deep breath sitting down across from Y/n's mom, Y/n right beside him. "The cards will tell us everything we need to know about what's going on here!" Y/n's mom winked at Matt. Y/n watched in amused agony as the boy sat rigged while Y/n's mother shuffled the cards. "Mom we just wanted to study."
