Paldea to Kalos a champion keeps rising

"THIS P.J. IS SO AWESOME!!!" Hilda yelled, once they reached cruising altitude, they could move about the cabin. The siblings and Pikachu had already explored the bedroom, bathrooms, and bar which their moms had forbidden them and Red from touching. The adults watched in amusement as they tried every seat. "Hey Ash, Look at this" Pikachu yelled, he pressed a button revealing a 120-inch screen.

"Woah that's awesome, wanna watch a movie, guys?" Ash asked his siblings "Let's watch that movie with the guy in the red suit with swords and the other guy in a yellow suit with claws that just came out!" Hilda said excitedly. "Bet!" was all Ash and Selene said.

Ash snapped his fingers "Oh, I've got an idea" he ran back to his pokeball case, retrieved one then approached his sisters. "Take out your eggs," Ash said as he made a makeshift nest out of blankets and pillows. "Uh, what for?" Hilda asked. Once he makes the nest, he takes the pokeball he grabbed from the case and reveals his Talonflame, "We there already?!?" Talonflame asks looking around.

"Talonflame's special ability is flame body. She can heat the eggs a lot better than the incubators. Do you think you can help us out there girl?" Ash asked his firebird. "I forgot about that ability. That'll help loads." Selene said face-palming. They all grabbed their eggs and laid them in the makeshift nest.

"Ok... let's just... do this... and you comfy there... and ah yes! Now I'm comfy." Talonflame said readjusting herself around the three eggs. "Thanks, Talonflame, were about to watch a movie, let us know if you need anything" Ash patting her on the head "Got it, boss"

Starting the movie and getting comfortable, the adults talked about when they got to Levincia. "When we dock in Levincia, we'll meet with the Gym leader of the city Iono, brilliant gym leader and Paldean social media star, she will escort us to the city border. There will be a car waiting for us." Geeta informed them "It'll be a couple of hours from there to your home in Cabo Poco. Your things should arrive a little before we dock" Clavell said sipping his tea.

"This is exciting! A whole new place! I can't wait to start working!" Leaf jumping up and down. "Damn it Leaf calm down you'll spill our tea." Yellow rolled her eyes annoyed, Red sweat dropped before asking Clavell. "I assume you told the teachers and students about us coming. What is their opinion?"

Clavell smiled and answered "I only told the staff about it because they hold the same opinion as myself and Geeta. The students; a small number support isolationism. While the rest in and out of school want to get out and explore, but I haven't told them yet. I'll introduce you and your children on the first day."

"That's good, no problems with co-workers just problems with little shits who think they know it all," Yellow said still annoyed at Leaf jumping. "Are there going to be problems from the Gym leaders or researchers?" Delia asked.

"The Gym leaders are excited at the prospect. They want to explore out of Paldea during the off-season. Gym leader, elite four, and champion are pretty much how high they can go while stuck there. The researchers don't care as long as all of you stay out of area 0." Geeta informed them

Ash, Pikachu, Hilda, and Selene had finished their movie and approached the adults, leaving Talonflame to look after the eggs. "Did you enjoy the movie kids?" Delia asks. It took them a little while for them to stop laughing about the movie. "Yeah, Mom it was amazing," Ash said through laughing tears, this caused the adults to smile at them. "So as your headmaster of the Naranja Academy, I trust you three will also try to get on the battle team?" Clavell asked. The three siblings shared a look "The battle team?" Hilda asked tilting her head in confusion.

"Director, you didn't tell Red about that when we talked details. So, I don't think they know what that is?" Geeta chuckled. "Oh, my apologies, Paldea is home to three academies. The Uva Academy in Levincia where we'll dock, the Blueberry Academy in Cascarrafa, and the academy you three will be attending the Naranja Academy in Mesagoza. Each academy has a battle team. The team has five trainers on it and the three academy trainers battle tournament style. I believe the first battle team tournament is the Naranja team against the Uva team." Clavell took a sip of his tea seeing the excited look on the children's faces. "At the end of the season, the number one trainer from each academy will battle in a three-way battle and the winner is the battle team champion," Clavell concluded, the kids were silent for a minute. "You kids alr-" Leaf couldn't finish because the kids let out an excited "I'M GONNA WIN THAT" The siblings had a competitive fire in their eyes, causing the adults to sweat drop. "So I take it you three are going to join?" Clavell chuckled "This'll be an interesting season around Paldea." Geeta said rubbing her chin, looking at the young trainers.
