KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK... "Ash wake up breakfast is ready!" A voice that Ash groggily recognized as Hilda's yelled on the other side of the door. Ash got up out of bed stretch, patted Pikachu on the head and proceeded to do his morning routine only for Pikachu to stop him.
"You're not going out like that are you?" Pikachu asked between amusement and wanting to avoid scarring his sisters.
Ash turned to look confused at Pikachu. "What do you mean?" "Look at yourself" the mouse pokemon replied. Looking himself over he saw that he was naked for some reason, causing him to blush. "Da fuck I was in sleep shorts and shirt before I went to bed?!" Looking around he spotted his sleep clothes on the floor next to his bed. He remembered wearing them to bed but not getting up to take them off.
Pikachu shrugged "beats me bud. Maybe you got hot last night and sleepily took them off? You do stuff like that a lot when you're slightly asleep." Ash nodded but that didn't make any sense, this room was freezing. Ash shrugged "figure it out later" he muttered, getting dressed and heading to do his routine with Pikachu on his shoulder.
Entering the mess hall, He and Pikachu sat down for breakfast with everyone either done or halfway done with their food. "About time son, I was worried Pikachu decided to stop shocking you as an alarm, I'm even more shock Hilda got you up first try." Yellow said sipping coffee. "She mentioned breakfast that's why" Ash, Selene, and Delia answered causing everyone to chuckle.
"The captain said we should be in Levincia in an hour or so, so everyone get your stuff ready to go" Red said with a smile, which was shared with his family. Selene and Leaf were jumping up and down in their seats causing Yellow and Hilda to get annoyed. One would've thought that it would've been the other way around but they all share traits of their parents.
Just then Geeta entered the room and sat down, "I just got off the phone with Iono, she's waiting for us at the inner city docks. She's beyond excited to meet you all and she especially excited to see Pikachus."
This cause Ash, Yellow, Red, and the Pikachus to tilt their head confused. "Why would she be excited? I mean it's not like she hasn't seen one, even though mine is well... unique." Ash said. "That's because she hasn't seen one" Geeta answered "what do you mean?" Red asked "there aren't any Pikachus in Paldea, and I wager you have many Pokemon that have never been seen in Paldea so you are going to get a lot of attention. Especially with Pikachu on your shoulder and not in its pokeball" The Paldea Champion answered
This somewhat shocked the kids, mainly the fact that Pikachu is in literally every region but Paldea apparently 'this'll be interesting' they thought as Red's and Ash's Pikachu started doing poses showing off how strong they are.
"Inner city docks?" Leaf asked, "Levincia is built on top of a cove the docks are below the streets there" Geeta answered. They chatted a bit more about the pokemon that are and are not in the region that Geeta knows of. "Ash where's rotomdex?" Delia asked "I've left him charging in my bag, as soon as we dock I'll power him up. He'll probably spend 3/4s of his battery taking pictures for data or what he'll call data in the city" Ash answered
Just then Director Clavell walked in and sat down and let out an exhausted sigh "you good director?" Red asked, Clavell smiled and took a sip of coffee "yes and no, I was just on the phone with Naranja champion Nemona and one of my instructors Raifort." "Oh? Why did you call them?" Geeta asked with a raised eyebrow Clavell shook his head "I asked Nemona if she would go to my office and grab a couple things for me and meet us at their home in Cabo Poco" "and you're worried she's going to forget cause she'll come across a trainer or trainers and battle them" Geeta concluded which was answered with a nod from Clavell.
"She sounds spirited, she might get along with the kids here for liking battling" Yellow chuckled, literally the kids and their father love a great battle with anyone and show how much they are bonded with their pokemon.
