The alarm goes off and Tucker and I groan in unison as the dogs start to scurry around, knowing the alarm means they get to go outside. Dom had wandered into Tucker's bed at some point in the night, so when he jumps back over to my bed to make sure Fika is awake, he lands on top of the Aussie, who begins to fight with him on top of me.

"Boys," I groan, but they don't stop. "Boys!" Both of them freeze in place as I rub my eyes and sit up, my body still aching. "Jesus. Settle down for five minutes, please." I turn to look at Tucker first, finding the man laying stomach-down with his arms beneath the pillow that his head is resting on. His back is somewhat twisted towards me, and I can see the pendant of his golden necklace which has migrated around to his back in his sleep. His blonde hair is messy and sticking up in some places, and his chest rises and falls slowly.

He's going back to sleep.

"Tucker, can you take the dogs out?" I ask softly.

"They're yours," he argues.

"I have to pee," I say softly, and the moment my voice softens and I sound less likely to fight back, he scrambles up into a seated position and turns to me. His eyes are still unfocused and dazed, but he's nodding and migrating to the edge of the bed. "Thank you. Their leashes are somewhere by the door."

"Yep, got it," he replies, standing up and stretching his arms above his head. I scoot past Dom and Fika, who are both laying down in anticipation, and climb off my bed with my mind set on the bathroom. I'm almost done by the time Tucker has both of the leashes on, but I make sure to wash my hands for a little longer than necessary to make sure he's outside before I emerge.

Our morning routines are full of asking favors, using baby voices to convince the other to agree to those favors, and trying to be the first to be fully ready. So, as soon as he's out, I go to grab a change of clothes and get to work in the bathroom with changing, brushing my teeth, and combing the knots out of my hair.

By the time he gets back inside, I'm turning the bathroom light off. He doesn't even take the leashes off, he just passes them to me, grabs the stack of clothes he laid out last night, and heads into the bathroom. I head back outside and start making my way to the other motel rooms of my companions.

I stop by Carter and Thomas' room first. A couple knocks bring forth tired replies and Thomas' early-morning-exhaustion-slurred curses. Carter tells him to shut up loud enough for me to hear, and I smile and shake my head as I carry on to the next room. Hannah meets me at the door, letting me know Alexis has a headache and is currently taking pain medication to fix that problem. Ben is emerging from his and Seth's room when I arrive, and he seems exhausted while Seth, who is inside the room stretching his arms, looks well-rested.

"Apparently, I snore," my friend teases, nodding to the man now walking away from the room. I laugh and let Dom and Fika greet him before I hear someone yell my name from the parking lot.

"Bonnie!" It's Tyler, and while I get to the edge of the walkway and look down, it takes me a minute to find him amongst the cars and the people. "Finally decided to get up?"

"We didn't get back until almost four last night," I tell him, and he whistles loudly, shaking his head.

"No one does it quite like you, Miss Bonnie. Come down for a second, I wanna ask you something," he calls up to me, and I nod. After collecting my phone, my keys, and the motel key, I head down to the parking lot with the dog leashes clipped to my belt loop and my boys dancing around my feet.
