PROM.

IT WAS TRUE, AND IT WAS EVIDENT that Daniel Larusso was head over heels for Jenny Medina. Massively.

Maybe her parents didn't fully approve of him, but they had no choice but to accept him, if Jenny fought for anything in that household other than her younger brother, it was that.

She fixed her light blue dress that perfectly matched his, a strapless mesh accompanied, and slightly puffy dress that flowed just down past her mid thighs. Her hair was down as she enjoyed it, and she wore the heels her mother got her for that one Christmas Dinner.

Her music played softly in her room as she continued to pick at her dress and the small bow on her side, smoothing it down and staring at herself in the mirror. It wasn't until the sounds of Daniel's car pulling to a stop that she rushed down, her nervous smile growing as she nearly tripped over the steps. She wanted to be there before he got inside, but because of the few times she stopped to make sure she didn't face plant, he beat her.

He standed at the door, his gaze set on her and only her from the second he entered. His smile grew, his mouth parted and he seemed as if he had so much to say, but only blinked out of it as Jenny's dad approached him - holding his hand out to shake it.

"Hi, Mr. Medina." He spoke, his voice hoarse and he cleared his throat after that. As he greeted her parents, Jenny finally made her way completely down, smiling at the sight of Daniel who held his arms open for her. "You look..." at a loss for words, he pulled her in by her waist.

His chin rested on her shoulder before he turned to speak into her ear. "You look incredible, Jen." He placed a soft kiss against the side of her head, and immediately, she pulled back - inspecting him and pulling at his suit.

He seemed to not enjoy it so much, yes he worked to buy it for himself but still - Lucille urged for him to get what was cheaper at the local stores. The suit didn't look cheap though, and as much as he felt like a dork, Jennifer loved it.

"Baby blue is yours." She spoke through her smile, nodding and Daniel's eyebrow quirked as he scoffed.

"Yeah?" His voice was smaller now, watching her give a small smile back - still nodding.

"Alright." He kissed her forehead quickly, opening up the corsage he brought her before helping her put it on. It matched his flower, and in the quiet moments that it took for him to put it on - they shared small glances through their eyelashes, faces burning at the eye contact.

"Pictures!" David came running in, a camera in hand as he passed the Medina's.

Arriving at prom was difficult because so many people were waiting to get in, but once they finally walked in - it was actually nice. Daniel and Jenny spoke of skipping prom for months but decided to go because prom was prom, and why would they miss a chance to show each other off.

Daniel held Jenny's hand as they made their way through. He was stopped every few seconds because honestly - since the All Valley win, there hasn't been a day at school where Daniel didn't have someone come up to him and act like they'd been friends for months.

Still, compared to last September, he was loving this. And while he talked to a group of boys who had been fascinated over his win, Ali ran over. She was wearing a deep purple dress, her makeup perfect and her hair up.

"J.J!" She screamed in excitement, her hand clinging onto hers as they admired one another. Ali pulled on her girl for a hug, and they sighed into one another's grip. They'd both be staying in California for college but completely different areas, which did suck.

Once Daniel finished his conversation he turned to the two girls, his eyebrows raising at Ali as they greeted one another - and at the sight of Ricky with Ali, Daniel smiled, holding his hand out to shake his.

Throughout the night, they sat all together and Daniel pulled Jenny up for multiple dances in which she had no business doing.

The only thing that she didn't like from Daniel was his past with dancing, because him being already pretty alright at it meant he always wants her to dance too.

Though at the end of the night, they sat close to another, at every chance he got - Daniel pulled Jenny's chair closer, her hands in his lap as he played with them, softly kissing them every now and then. His head rested against hers for a split second before leaning back to meet her eyes. Her makeup was softly smudged and he fixed it for her quickly before his eyes stared into hers.

"I tell you you look beautiful?" He asked, his voice loud as he called over the music. There was a small second that Jennifer took to move her hand to his hair, and she nodded.

"You really do, Jen." A toothy smile came from him, and before he could kiss her - Jenny kept one hand on the collar of his suit, tugging at it a bit.

"What about you?" She asked, and his brows furrowed - though his lips stayed curved into a smile.

"What about me?" He repeated, and he watched as her lips softly kissed his cheek, nodding.

"You look really nice, Danny." It wasn't often she called him this, but when she did - it got him. His cheeks rose a color of pink and he did nothing but grin at her before the one good slow song of the night played. Hold Me Now.

Jenny's eyes lit up, and she didn't have to say anything for Daniel to stand up - politely holding his hand up. She took it without a doubt, following him to the dance floor. They took an empty spot in the middle, and there - he wrapped his arms around her lower back as she wrapped hers around his neck.

They were close, his cologne scent was strong, and their breath from the punch was almost stronger. Daniel Larusso was greeted by people walking by at least five times within the dance, but not once did he look away from Jenny. She was grateful of that.

It was a sweet moment that he wanted to keep forever, and he couldn't help but smile once she placed soft kisses against his cheek - continuously.

He was blushing of course, the many other girls who wished to have gotten to him first watched and at that, he shut his eyes, his smile growing as he squeezed her waist, tugging her even closer.

He rubbed Jenny's back, sighing in content and once she began to pull away from his face - soft giggles escaping both of their lips - he connected them in a kiss. His mouth was slightly parted and Jenny played with the nape of his neck, softly tugging at his hair in which he softly and quietly groaned at, slowly pulling away and resting his forehead against hers.

Her eyes searched his once again, and this time - it was different. There was some sort of nostalgia to their looks recently - as the school year ended. Jenny softly wiped the residue of her lipstick from his mouth - him speaking at the same time.

"You wanna get out of here?" He asked, and Jennifer's eyes gazed into his before her brows playfully furrowed.

"Why?"

"Just asking."

"Do you?" She asked, and now - at her simple smile, Daniel glanced up in deep thought before slowly nodding.

"Fine. But You talked me into it." He spoke quickly, earning a soft laugh from Jenny as the song ended. He pulled her along to go in front of him, and from the back - he rested his hands on her back as he followed, almost like a lost puppy.

His smile was even bigger than when they got here, because as beautiful as it was going to prom with Jenny - being able to be with just her would be even better.
