The days following their honeymoon were filled with the excitement of returning home and starting their married life together. Meera and Arjun settled into their routine, but the memories of their trip lingered, especially in Meera's mind.
During one of their adventures on the trip, they had visited a local art gallery. Meera had been captivated by the paintings—vivid depictions of the ocean, landscapes, and everyday life. The colors, textures, and emotions conveyed through the artwork had left a lasting impression on her. She couldn't stop thinking about it, even after they returned home.
One weekend, Meera decided to visit an art supply store in the city. Arjun was curious about her sudden interest in art but didn't question it. Meera wandered through the aisles, picking up paints, brushes, and canvases. She felt a strange excitement bubbling within her, like she was on the brink of discovering something new about herself.
When she got home, Meera set up a small studio in the corner of their living room. She started painting, unsure of where it would lead but feeling an intense desire to express herself through colors and shapes. Her first few attempts were clumsy, but she enjoyed the process. The act of painting was therapeutic, a way to channel her thoughts and emotions.
Arjun noticed how engrossed Meera had become in her new hobby. He often found her at the easel, completely absorbed in her work. One evening, he walked over to her as she was finishing a painting. It was a vibrant portrayal of the waterfall they had visited during their honeymoon.
"That's beautiful, Meera," Arjun said, genuinely impressed. "I didn't know you had such a talent for painting."
Meera blushed, feeling a mix of pride and vulnerability. "I didn't either. I just... I don't know, it feels right. Like I've found something I didn't know I was looking for."
Arjun smiled and hugged her from behind, resting his chin on her shoulder. "I'm so happy you found something that makes you feel this way. You should keep going with it."
Encouraged by Arjun's support, Meera began dedicating more time to her painting. She started exploring different styles and techniques, and each piece she completed felt like a step closer to discovering her artistic voice.
Arjun's belief in her talent didn't stop at words. One day, he surprised her by enrolling her in a local art class, where she could learn from a professional artist and connect with other aspiring painters. Meera was touched by the gesture. "Thank you, Arjun. You have no idea how much this means to me."
"Anything for you," he replied with a grin. "I want to see you succeed in whatever makes you happy."
As Meera attended the art class and continued painting at home, she realized this wasn't just a passing interest. It was a passion she wanted to pursue seriously. The thought of turning it into a career, or at least a significant part of her life, began to take shape in her mind.
Arjun was there every step of the way, offering encouragement, giving feedback, and even helping her set up a small online portfolio to showcase her work. Meera's confidence grew with each brushstroke, and so did her love for Arjun, who supported her dreams as if they were his own.
The journey had only just begun, but Meera knew she was on the right path—one that she was excited to walk, hand in hand with the person she loved.
