The next morning, Arjun woke with a singular purpose. Meera's words echoed in his mind, fueling his determination. He couldn't let her be forced into an engagement she didn't want, especially when their love was so strong and real.

Arjun paced his small apartment, running through different scenarios in his head. He knew Meera's family was traditional and strict; convincing them would not be easy. But he was willing to do whatever it took to prove his love and commitment to Meera.

He decided to gather his friends, including his bandmates, who had always been supportive. Ravi, his closest friend and bandmate, listened intently as Arjun explained the situation.

"We need to stop this engagement, Ravi," Arjun said, his voice resolute. "I can't lose Meera. Not like this."

Ravi nodded, his expression serious. "We're with you, Arjun. What's the plan?"

Arjun took a deep breath. "First, I need to speak to her family. They need to understand that our love is real and that we are serious about our future together. But I know I can't do this alone. I need backup, support, and maybe even a bit of a spectacle to make them see."

His friends agreed, and they began brainstorming ideas. After hours of planning, they decided on a course of action. Arjun knew it was risky, but he had to try.

The day of Meera's engagement meeting arrived all too quickly. Arjun felt a knot of anxiety in his stomach but steeled himself for what lay ahead. He arrived at Meera's house with Ravi and a few other friends. They were ready to support him no matter what.

Arjun took a deep breath and approached the front door. He rang the bell, and a moment later, Meera's father opened the door. His stern expression did not soften upon seeing Arjun.

"Mr. Sharma, I need to speak with you," Arjun said, his voice steady despite the fear gnawing at him. "It's about Meera."

Meera's father frowned. "This is not the time, Arjun. We have guests arriving shortly."

"Please, just hear me out," Arjun pleaded. "I love Meera, and I know she loves me. We deserve a chance to be together."

Before Mr. Sharma could respond, Meera appeared at the door, her eyes wide with surprise and hope. "Arjun, what are you doing here?"

"I couldn't let this happen, Meera," Arjun said, stepping closer to her. "We belong together. I need to show your family that our love is real."

By now, the commotion had drawn the attention of the guests inside, including the boy Meera was supposed to meet. Arjun's friends stood behind him, a united front.

Mr. Sharma looked around, clearly displeased. "This is highly inappropriate, Arjun. Leave now before you make things worse."

"No, Appa," Meera said, her voice firm. "Let him speak. He deserves to be heard."

Arjun took her hand, drawing strength from her presence. "Mr. Sharma, I know you want the best for Meera. But forcing her into a marriage she doesn't want won't bring her happiness. I love her with all my heart, and I promise to take care of her and make her happy. Please, give us a chance."

Meera's mother, who had been watching silently, stepped forward. "We've always wanted Meera to be happy. Maybe we should listen to what they have to say."

The room fell silent as everyone waited for Mr. Sharma's response. He looked at his wife, then at Meera and Arjun, his expression softening slightly.

"Arjun," he said finally, "if you truly love Meera and are committed to her, prove it. Show us that you are worthy of her. We will give you one chance."

Relief washed over Arjun, and he nodded vigorously. "I will, Mr. Sharma. Thank you for giving us this opportunity."

As the tension eased, Meera squeezed Arjun's hand, her eyes shining with gratitude and love. "Thank you, Arjun. I knew you would find a way."

Together, they faced the challenges ahead, knowing that their love was worth fighting for. And as they left Meera's house that day, hand in hand, they felt a renewed sense of hope and determination to build the future they had always dreamed of.
