Dan's POV:

Ema huffed a strand of hair out of her face as we waited for Phil to get ready. She looked so frustrated but pretty as she groaned when the strand fell back.

"Are you having a battle with your hair?" I teased. She shrugged and continued to blow on her strand of hair. Finally, Phil appeared from a corner and grinned at us.

"Have you been sitting there for the entire 30 minutes?" he asked.

"Pshhh like I would do that" I replied

"I gave Dan a lesson on something he should be studying but rather is too lazy dwelling on his life to do so" Ema explained. I gasped and faked tears.

"Gee, you don't have to be so real you know" I replied

"Oh I'm sorry Daniel I didn't mean to hurt your feelings" she cooed. I felt the heat forming on my cheeks as she said my name and turned back to Phil.

"So, you ready for some chinese?" I asked him, changing the subject. He gave me a look darting his eyes back at Ema and me (which I didn't quite understand) and nodded.

A few minutes later-

"Do we really have to walk? It's freaking freezing at night!" Ema protested even though it was supposedly the summer.

"You'll get used to weather" I replied debating whether I should offer her my jacket or let her die of the "cold".

"How are you guys not dying yet?" she asked again. Phil rolled his eyes.

"Ema, why didn't you bring a jacket?" Phil asked her. She looked down at the ground.

"I don't know, I mean it was pretty breezy in the morning but this is some next level crap" she replied, shaking her head.

Should I hand her my jacket or be an ignorant, mean jerk-face? I don't know.

"Goddammit, Dan" I mumbled to myself

"What?" Phil and Ema asked.

"Hmm? Oh nothing"

*facepalm*

I felt Ema shiver next to me and couldn't take it anymore to see her like that. I unzipped my coat and handed it too her. She looked confused but then smiled proudly.

"Thank you" she thanked. I nodded, proudly and in the corner of my eye I saw Phil wink. I didn't know who it was directed too but I got a queasy feeling it was for me. I cleared my throat.
" So, now we'll be able to get to know each other a bit better" I blurted.

" Yeah, you should tell us a bit about yourself. We know you from the Internet and all but this is much different experience for us!" Phil told Ema.
"Well, I'm a youtuber like you guys too. I mean there isn't much too say." she said.

I scoffed "Theirs a lot we don't know about you!" I pointed out. She gave me a glare

"I told you my biggest secret, Dan" she replied, rolling her eyes. Oh yeah. About her dad and ex.

"Still" Phil chimed in saving me from the awkwardness. "We only know very little compared to how well you know us. We want to get to know you" he added.

"Well, what do you want to know?" she asked Phil and I.

"I don't know hobbies? Favorite dog breed? Do you like cats? Celebrity crush you like?" Phil suggested. She pondered over the questions for a second looking at the sky.

"Mm hobbies is drawing and piano. Golden retriever, duh. Cats are awesome animals. Sometimes scary. Depends. Celebrity crush? Don't really have one. Oh wait..." she trailed, thinking over what she was about to say.
