VIOLETTE LAYED IN BED THINKING about life. She woke up with a bad feeling, it was a worse feeling than she's ever felt before. She couldn't go in. No way was she going in.

•••

"Violette?" Alex stood above the bed, watching as she stared into space. "Are you okay?" He knelt down to be at her eye level and softly stroked her cheek.

"I'm not going in." She whispered with a shaky voice. His expression change to one of concern.

"Are you ill?" He watched while she shook her head in return but her gaze was still set on the nothingness in front of her. Alex got up and left the room to get Meredith whose room was opposite theirs.

He knocked on the door but got no answer so he decided to bang on it with more force.

"What is it?!" She exclaimed, anger clear in her face.

"It's Violette. Something's wrong." He told her with genuine worry laced in his tone.

"Violette. Maybe there will be a bunch of horrible accidents nearby the hospital!" George said with excitement in hope to ease her anxieties.

"I can't go." She admitted for what seemed like the tenth time. The interns all shared a worried look on their faces.

"You have a feeling?" Cristina came in. Everyone knew she was the stern one and ideally the one Violette would listen to.

"I have a feeling."

"Okay. What kind of feeling?"

"That I might die."

•••

Cristina managed to get Violette into work and the interns were all getting ready for the incoming trauma. But Violettes feeling still lingered.

"You all right?" Derek asked his younger sister who felt as if she was stuck in front of the doors to the ER.

"I have a feeling."

He came closer to her before continuing. "I get those." He smiled softly.

"What do you do?"

"If you wait long enough, it passes." He said as he put a comforting hand onto her shoulder.

"Do you promise?"

"Promise."

While the interns were waiting on the rig to arrive, they heard a familiar voice during Cristinas rant of who their new attending would be.

In response to Cristinas query about who they would be sucking up to, she remarked,  "That would be." Causing all the interns spin around and face a heavily pregnant Bailey.

"Doctor Bailey?" Cristina stuttered at the sight of her resident who had been off for the past few weeks on maternity leave.

"I've been gone two weeks, two weeks, and you've all ran off two residents?" The women yelled out in rage, scolding the interns for their behaviour.
