Logan fiddled nervously at the table. Their motel rooms were big, bigger than he expected. But that didn't mean he liked them. He wanted his sister. Screw what his mom had said—he needed ash right now.
That thing...the picture...it was all just too much.
He felt like he couldn't breathe. It all...

Fuck.

He wanted Ash.

Logan glanced at the other boys. They didn't seem too bothered...so, should he tell Them? About the photo?

But...

No no, it's fine. They won't...

It'll be ok!

Logan gulped. "Um..g-guys?"

They looked at him. Logan gulped. He held the picture in his hands, fidgeting. "U-um...while we were in the s-sorrel weed house I um......I took a photo of the creature."

Tyler scoffed. "Sure you did."

Logan flinched. He looked up. "I—"

Tyler grunted, standing up. "Look, it's the 21st century. There's one in a billion ways to fake things. You took a picture of whatever they wanted you too."

Logan gulped. He put the photo down. "R-right...sorry."

Tyler huffed. He stood up, going to bed. Ben snapped his pencil in anger, and Logan fidgeted with his fingers nervously. They were mad. They didn't want him to bring it up again. He felt small tears prick at his eyes. God, he was so stupid. So so stupid.

Aiden looped his arm around him, and Logan flinched. "Let's see this picture, yeah?"

Logan handed it to him shakily, looking away as Ben came up to see it too. He wouldn't lie—Ben intimidated him a teeny bit.

Aiden hummed, looking at the photo. "Well isn't that weird? Ash is standing alone..but there are two shadows?"

Ben shivered. He turned, heading right to the bedroom. Aiden laughed a little. "Going to bed?"

Ben nodded.

Aiden laughed. "Mm. He's never lasted very long with spooky stuff like this."

"You do..?" Logan asked timidly.

"Yeah. I've always found it pretty cool."

Logan looked at the boy, bewildered. He found it cool? How? It was terrifying. He was seriously considering that this kid was a complete psycho.

"Anyways I'd be more worried about your current situation." Aiden smiled. "About having to share a room with the halfwit back there."

Logan paled. He gulped, not wanting to share a room with Tyler. "I..um..." he sighed. "I'll just sleep on the couch..."

"TAYLOR!"

Logan jolted awake, just in time to see Tyler bolt out the door and slam it behind him. Logan rubbed his eyes sleepily, yawning. "Huh..? What's going on..?"

He looked to Aiden and jumped. "What happened to your nose?!"

Aiden grunted. "Ow."
