Tyler raced through the woods, grunting in exertion as he pulled Taylor along behind him. They had woken up in the realm not even five minutes earlier, finding the bag that Aiden and Mike had hid away in the trees.
Not even a second after they found the bag Ashlyn took off running. And that brought them to now, chasing her through the woods as she followed whatever ghost had possessed her.
"Damnit..." He muttered. "ASHLYN SLOW DOWN! WHY THE HELL SRE YOU RUNNING?!"
Ashlyn didn't answer him, only running faster. It made Tyler pissed to be honest. They were supposed to be a team! And they needed to work together, to find Logan.Aiden huffed as he ran alongside them, Ben not too far behind.
"Think she heard him?" Aiden asked.
"No idea," Tyler said. "Maybe."
"Do you think he'll be okay?" Taylor asked.
Tyler grunted, rolling his eyes. "He told us he got impaled Taylor. What do you think?"
Taylor smacked his arm. "Tyler now is not the time to be an asshole—you know what I meant!" She snapped at him.Tyler grunted. Yeah, he knew damn well what she meant. They hadn't been able to get sedatives or anything—meaning that Logan would likely be conscious during the whole thing. Tyler winced at the thought. Jesus. He really couldn't imagine anything that bad happening to him.
"We can only hope." Ben signed.
Taylor nodded at him.Aiden ran ahead, turning the corner. "Ah! There you are!"
So he had found Ashlyn? The rest of the conversation went numb as Tyler turned the corner. Ashlyn was rummaging through the bag quickly, panicked look on her face.
"Hey what's—" drip. "Wrong."Tyler looked up, shaky. He gasped at the sight he saw, his knees going weak. There he was. Logan—stabbed out on a tree. Tyler couldn't take this sight.
It wasn't something you saw everyday, not anything you would see at all.Tyler couldn't take this sight. He ran to the nearest bush and hurled.

Ben was a shaking mess by the time they had saved Logan from his earthly demise. They had no idea how many hours it had been, but to Ben it didn't matter. It was all a haze.
God...
There was so much broken. So much torn. He kept bleeding and bleeding, would it ever stop? He looked around at the faces of his friends. Would this hell ever end? This cruel cycle that had taken so much from them?
Ben lifted Logan onto his back, gently. God, poor Logan. He had been through so much. Too much. And Ben? Ben had no idea how to fix it. How to fix any of it.
But wasn't that his job as the medic? He had to fix it. He had to heal what was broken.
But how does one heal oneself from the horrors it sees every night?
They were kids. He had to remind himself that daily. They were kids. They didn't deserve to go through all of this. And yet they did. Because of one choice, one field trip.
And here they were now, traumatized and half dead. What a funny thing it was. What a cruel, funny thing life was.
No, not life.
What people were.
"Do you have him?" Ashlyn asked shakily.
Ben nodded, gripping Logan a bit tighter, scared to let him go. Heal. He had to hold together the pieces of the others. And he was scared. So scared that he would let go and...
Logan would go again too."Another phantom," Tyler grunted, aiming one of the pistols at it and getting it in the chest. "Damn..wish we could find the shotgun."
"It's probably around here somewhere if you want to waste more time looking for it," Taylor snapped, too irritated—no, drained to say anything else. She had helped Ben after all. Helped stitch her friend back together.
"Alright then," Ashlyn said, her eyes distant. "Let's get to the school."

The Banner Siblings! (Re-Written)
FanfictionHey! So, I wasn't happy with how my old story was written. It felt sloppy and rushed, and I knew I could do better. So I did. This is a better written version of the Banner Siblings! What if Logan and Ashlyn were sibling? :D
