"Aiden for the last time—you don't put that number over there." Logan stressed for the millionth time. God, why did it seem like he was doing all the work? It sucked.

Midterms were coming up, and fast. To study for them, Logan suggested they do it together as a group at their house. He unfortunately failed to realize how—Difficult—that tsk would end up being. Not to mention, their presentation on Savannah was tomorrow. Somehow, they had managed to work though their trauma and make a somewhat ok project. Logan wouldn't call it A material but they wouldn't fail. Solid B, then.

To say Logan was nervous for it was an understatement. He had been trying (and failing) to convince everyone else in the group to have a speaking role. He even tried Ben at one point, begging him to at least use text to speech to cover his slides as well, but to no avail. Logan sighed and tried not to think about it.

Taylor hummed happily. Logan glanced at her paper. "Tay are you just doodling again?"

Taylor didn't even try to hide it. "Yeah, but it's just English. I already finished my paper."

Logan sighed. "And Tyler...?"

"Gave up!" Tyler answered from under his book. He was sprawled out all over the floor of Logan's bedroom. Ashlyn was on the floor too, setting up a game of cards with Logan's poker set.
"I'm almost done, who wants to play?"

"Oh can I?!" Aiden clambered off the bed.

"Do you even know how to play?" Ben's text to speech voice came in.

"Absolutely not!" Aiden smiled.

Taylor glanced over. "I'm down."

"What—oh come on! This is due—"

"At the end of the week." Tyler lifted the book off his face. "We'll be fine you big ball of anxiety. Just shut up and play the game. Ben you in?"

"And see Aiden whine everytime he inevitably loses? Pass. I'd rather play Mario Kart with Logan."

"Ben you too?" Logan asked. Ben handed him the control. Logan sighed in defeat. "I guess one little break won't hurt."

The others cheered. Logan sighed. Yeah. A few rounds of Mario kart wouldn't hurt..

"I'm going to CRUSH you!" Aiden screamed at Logan, desperately trying to pass him in Mario Kart.
Logan cackled, flipping him the bird. "Try as you might, but you idiots will never beat me!"

"Damn." Taylor commented from the side of the room, where she was doing Ashlyn's nails. "No idea your brother had the capacity of being such a gremlin."
"Nah, he's usually not like this. He's just pissed Aiden stopped his rant of constellations earlier. This is his revenge." Ashlyn hummed. "Oh, can you do the other hand black please?"
"Sure!" Taylor said happily. "Mine next?"
"Sure. But I've never done em before so they'll probably be crappy." Ashlyn hummed.
"Better than nothing. Right Ben?" Taylor looked over to the boy, who was silently admiring his nails that Taylor painted black. Ben nodded.

"DIE! DIE! DIE!" Tyler cackled as Logan threw a blue shell at Aiden. Aiden groaned. "COME ON!"

KNOCK! KNOCK!

"Hm? Come in!" Logan paused the game.

Mike walked in, chuckling. "Um, guys? No offense but can you keep it down a little? We can hear you all the way downstairs."

"Oh, sorry dad!" Logan apologized.

Mike chuckled, then closed the door on his way out. He went downstairs, and then let out a giddy squeal. Emma burst out laughing. "What was that for?"

Mike hugged her tight, shaking her by her shoulders a little. "Our kids have friends! FRIENDS! That's excitingggggggg!"

Emma rolled her eyes lovingly. "Yeah, until you realize we have to socialize with the other parents."

"Even better."

Emma laughed as Mike kissed her cheek. God, she loved her husband so much. Mike hummed. "Maybe I should make some changes to the jeep so I can seat them all?"

Emma laughed. She kissed Mike. "This, Mike Banner, is exactly why I love you."

Mike blushed. He chuckled. "But seriously though, should I?"

Emma smiled. "Go crazy,"

Mike nodded, determined. Emma snorted and turned away. She froze for a minute, her eyes catching a slight glimpse of...something. She shrugged it off.

They could deal with it later.
