I don't know what Joe and I were thinking when we kept ordering shots for our friend's entire wedding party. Maybe we just weren't thinking at all. It started with a celebratory round, but as the night went on, Joe just kept buying us all drinks or shots and toasting to his best friend who was getting married in just a few short weeks to the love of his life.

By the end of the night when everyone was planning on going home, every one of the bridesmaids and groomsmen were completely wasted except for the only person who doesn't drink alcohol; aka the responsible one who had to look out for all of us. Since we all knew that everyone would be intoxicated by the end of the night after bar hopping in Columbus, they all took a limousine here. Since Joe and I are the only ones who don't live either in Columbus or close to it, we drove ourselves to the hotel we were going to be staying at for the night and then just got a car service to take us to the bar with them.

"Oh come with us!" Megan told me, the bride to be, begging us to go with them Instead of getting an Uber back to the hotel. "Megan it's toooo far away girl. I don't want to make you backtrack. We are fine with an Uber." I said and tried to take a step back but ended up tripping over my own feet. I let out a small scream before I felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist to hold me up. I began to giggle while looking back at Joe who was also laughing. His cheeks were so red and his eyes were so weighed down. As the both of us continued to laugh, I reached up and ran my fingers through his long curls that dangled just above his eyes, making Joe's cheeks flush red.

"Alright alright, i'll call an uber." Joe said, dragging his eyes away from me and helping me back upright so he could go on his phone and get an uber. "Ok fine. I'll see you all very very soon!" I yelled into the limousine. Immediately, everyone inside of the long car started to cheer. After I brought my head out of the car and faced Megan. "I'll see you at the wedding miss bride to be." I winked at her before wrapping my arms around her. "Yes I can't wait! I cannot believe I'm getting married soon!" She laughed and threw her arms around me. I held her tightly before pulling away and looking into her eyes. "You're gonna be the bestest wife in the whole wide world," I said but then furrowed my brows, "that's not even a word." The both of us laughed before she slipped into the limousine with the rest of the wedding party.
