Sowoen's POV:

I have been trapped in a basement for months. I don't know what is going on but all Howl told me was that it was for my own good. But what good does it do me to be apart from my friends? Why, if it was for my own good, was he threatening to hurt my mother?

I didn't know why he forced me to delete all of Y/N's files but I knew I didn't want to. Y/N had become like a sister to me so I would never think of hurting her but I didn't want to harm my own mother.

"How much longer do I have to stay in here?" I asked. Howl sat in a corner of a room he tapped his fingers on the desk. My eyes remained glued to the screen.

"When you break the security system we will let you go. Well, maybe not entirely," he said. I sighed and began typing away.

"I thought you were a top hacker," Howl spoke.

"I am. I just didn't set up this security system and it's too complicated to hack. I hope you understand that I can only hack systems that are common or systems that were made by me," I said and he nodded.

"I have a plan but you're gonna have to help me with it," he said as she walked towards me.

"What is it?" I asked.

"Are you hungry?"

-

I found myself sitting in a restaurant with a hood and different-colored hair. My black hair had been dyed a tangerine orange and my clothes were now baggier than usual. I had an earpiece in my left ear where I could hear everything Howl and his men were saying.

"I don't want to do this, Howl..." I said.

"If it all goes to plan, this will be over soon. Now, turn on your location," he said. I pulled out my phone and turned on my location.

"Now, off," he said and I did as he told me.

"Now, we wait for Y/N. It will all be alright," he said with an apologetic voice.

I didn't know why he wanted to hurt her. He was never able to explain to me the reason and I didn't want to ask. I just wanted to see my mom.

So we waited. We waited for hours and Y/N never showed up which gave me hope that she had seen my message. After that, they took me back to that hell hole. I felt like I was in prison.

A bed, and a bathroom, and they had to bring me my food. The only privacy time was in the bathroom and I wasn't even allowed to bring my phone.

They tried to trick Y/N into showing up a few more times but she never showed which made me feel relieved. They allowed me to talk to my mom and I was sitting in that room pretending not to know how to hack Y/N's security system.

"We are trying again today, Sowoen," I heard Howl say. I sighed and grabbed my phone. I slid on my hoodie and shoes before walking up the stairs.

"Why do we keep doing this? Why do you have to use me as bait?" I asked.

"Well, we thought that Y/N cared for you. We thought she might come running since she keeps tabs on everyone's location but I guess she doesn't care as much as I thought. No one even made a big fuss about you. Not the media, not your girls. Whatever happens today will determine our next move," he said and I gulped.

The van dropped me off a block away from the grocery store. I turned my location on and started walking towards the store. While in the store, I looked around and placed some snacks in my basket. I was simply stalling, knowing that Y/N was not going to show up.

Howl's words started getting to my head but then I remembered the number of emails and messages I received from Bada, Y/N, and the girls. They didn't forget about me.
