Zeng Y/N's POV:
I woke up with a pounding headache. Getting drunk was probably not the best idea but I was too overwhelmed and having some free time made me think about other things. Bad things.
I groaned and sat up feeling parched but then I found a glass of water next to my bed. I drank it and carefully stood up. I took some painkillers and walked to the kitchen. The sun was already beaming through the windows making my headache worse.
I looked around the house for Lin Fan or Keran but they were there. I walked to the kitchen and saw a note on the microwave.
'We went to work but you seemed to be sleeping peacefully so we decided to let you rest. Here is breakfast. Eat before you leave the house,"
-Fan Fan and KeKe
I looked at the clock and it marked ten thirty.
"Shit!" I said as I pressed the minute button on the microwave. I put my hair in a high bun and quickly stepped into the shower. I packed my bag after changing and rushed through my breakfast.
I let my hair down and got in the car. When I arrived at the company, I went into my office and began to do my makeup quickly before the meeting. That's when I heard Lin Fan come in.
"Did you sleep well?" she asked and I glared.
"You knew I had a meeting at eleven. Why didn't you wake me up?" I asked as I applied blush on my cheeks.
"Because you need sleep. We are not incompetent, you know? We can take care of the company too." she said and I sighed at her words.
"You're right... I'm sorry," I continued to apply makeup.
"Well... Stray Kids and Itzy had their training and are now waiting on you for vocal lessons but we can send them over to JYP since you have that meeting and still have to train archery and boxing with the other groups," she said and I nodded.
"Don't let Park Jinyoung watch them while they practice, please," I said and she laughed. She was about to walk out when I called her name.
"Thank you for looking out for me. I know I'm not your responsibility," I said.
"Hey... us freaks have to look out for each other," she said with a wink and a smile and I smiled back.
I sighed. Every day my life felt like it was crumbling apart no matter how good the company was going and it was all because of my stupid memories and flashbacks that would hit me like a truck with no warning.
"Hi... I was wondering if we are having training today," Sowoen peeked her head through the door. I told her to come in and shut the door behind her.
"We are having training but... Sowoen, be completely honest with me. Did I do or say anything stupid yesterday?" I asked in a whisper voice, too afraid anyone could hear me.
"Um... let's see... after taking so many shots and beer we asked you about dating and you said you didn't want to date because a person like you couldn't be loved, which is madness. Then you drank more and when you stood up, you immediately hit the ground. That's about it," she said finishing her sentence with a small smile.
"oh. my. gosh. How did I get home?" I asked as I held my head.
"Bada and I took you back home. Well, she did. I just helped. I have to go to practice with the trainees. Howl is here so, I'll see you later in the basement," she said as she stood up and headed to the door.
My guts twisted at the thought of Howl. Ever since I saw him those stupid memories kept coming back to me and it's just shitty.
Regardless, I managed to make it to my meeting on time. In an hour-long meeting, I managed to collect investors and partners of high-ranking companies. I was slowly climbing my way up this industry.
