Zeng Y/N's POV:

The following morning, I walked into the building. I was a bit calmer and more collected, and I went to the meeting room where I had asked for them to gather the night before.

I spotted Bada looking at me and she quickly looked away after I made eye contact with her. My heart clenched at the sight of her sad aura, but I pushed that aside for the time being.

They sat quietly and looked at each other. The tension in the air grew as I walked to my seat. Lin Fan and Keran stood behind me with a poker face. They all stood up and bowed but I dismissed the formalities and sat down.

"So, what happened yesterday was... unexpected and we are not to speak of it after today's meeting. I will handle those kinds of issues on my own from now on because I do not want to put any of you at risk," I made a pause when I saw Ryujin raise her hand. I nodded and she stood up.

"Unnie, I think we are very well trained for this. You are our leader, and we are... nothing without you. I don't mind going to those lengths for you and I'm sure everyone here would agree," she said earning nods from everyone around.

"Yes, I understand but I said no. I trained you to protect yourselves and your teammates therefore, I don't want to involve you in my issues. I have my enemies and I'll deal with them on my own. Now, if you ever see any of your teammates in danger, then you are allowed to interfere, understood?"

They didn't speak. They just looked around and rubbed their hands or nape.

"Understood?" I said one more time a bit louder making Yuna and Cheche slightly jump.

"Yes," they all said.

"Great. You may now resume your activities. Bada, Sowoen, I need to talk to you in my office," I said, and they both nodded.

We walked to my office, and I sat down. They sat in the chairs in front of me.

"Mh... Listen, I am sorry for my behavior yesterday. As you can tell, I was in danger and panicked when I saw all of you on the scene. It would be best if you weren't in danger at all. Both of you have become really important in my life and I would do anything to keep you safe so please don't follow me into a situation like that again," Sowoen nodded and left.

Bada was sitting in front of me looking down on her hands. I sighed. I hated seeing her like that. I hated that I was the reason for it as well.

"Bada?" I said and she looked at me with teary eyes. My heart felt like it was going to drop. I stood up and walked to her. I kneeled in front of her and lifted her chin so she could look at me.

"You are the most important thing I have now. I don't want to lose you. You understand that, right?" I asked and she nodded. She was still avoiding my eyes.

"Baby, could you look at me?" I said and Bada immediately looked into my eyes.

Her tears began to fall, and I hugged her tightly.

"I love you. I don't want to lose you either. Please," she said.

"See, this is why I didn't want to date anyone. I don't want to make you cry or make you worry. I promise you I will be fine. And I will do anything in my power, so you are also okay. Don't cry," I said as she was still in my embrace.

I broke the hug and wiped the tears from her face. I kissed her cheek finally earning a small smile from her.

"I love you, okay?" I said and she nodded.

"I love you too, Y/N"

Howl's POV:

My father gave me strict orders and I got carried away. I was an idiot for engaging in a conversation with her.
