T'challa was dead... There was no other way about it. An outsider, claiming to be a wakandan, had appeared, dragging the corpse of klaw. He challenged T'challa for the throne, and won...

The outsider, going by Erik killmonger, had taken over wakanda. Burning every single herb that granted the powers of the Black panther, after taking one himself. But Nakia snuck one out before it happened.. which led to now.

queen Ramonda, princess Shuri, Y/n tennyson, Zed, Nakia, and Ross trecks their way up the mountain, home to the Jabari tribe. Until they were taken captive, and brought to M'baku. The person they wanted to see.

The six sat in front of M'baku's throne, as he stared at each of them. The plan was to have M'baku take the herb, and take back wakanda. As to them, M'baku is better than the alternative.
                        
Ramonda: "My son was murdered in ritual combat-"                        

M'baku: "Were the odds fair?"
                        
Nakia: "Yes, but.."
                        
M'baku: "So, it was less a murder than a defeat?"
                        
Shuri: "Do not rub our noses in it-"
                        
M'baku: "Silence! I make the pronouncements here, girl"

Y/n: "hey! Look pal, you can talk however the hell you want, but don't yell at shuri like that!"

M'baku: "and who are you to stop me?"

Y/n: "the boy that's gonna knock your rear-end into next week!"

Everyone in the room stays silent, not a single word is heard.. Then, M'baku let out a hearty laugh.

M'baku: "I like this one"

Y/n: "eh, not to bad yourself there pal"
                        
Ross: "Look uh, your highness, the new King is a-"
        
M'Baku drowns out Ross' voice with loud barks. The surrounding Jabari follow suit. The barking almost made zed join in, but she held herself together.
                        
M'baku: "You cannot talk. One more word and I will feed you to my children"
        
Ross looks petrified until M'Baku winks at Ramonda.
                        
M'baku: "I'm kidding. We are vegetarians"
