A war is coming. I thought I had more time. I thought that getting all my eggs in my basket would be easier. I was naive. I have less time than I had initially thought.

And like that, my screaming had an answer, and she appeared in front of me, grabbing at my face and wiping my tears. Tears I didn't even realize I had.

"My, Dear, fierce little warrior. I'm sorry to be the one that stirrs your heart so violently. Lets talk, it's time I tell you what I brought you for."

Zia stood in front of me. She was the toughest woman I had met. But that didn't mean she was immune to heartache. And for a moment, I let that slip, and in return, let her slip through the cracks. I wanted all three girls together before the war could start. I thought I could train them separately, and then unite them. But maybe I need them together sooner that initially thought.

They could assist in their training. Become stronger together.

Her tears still ran, and I felt as though they were running through my veins, watering my blood and restricting function. Weakening me.

I had to put a stop to her tears. It had been four years with her, but she still made me feel as though I had known her since birth. Though, if that was true, she never would've gone through that torture.

"Koria, why? Why only agree to talking now? And what in the bloody hell is going on." She was hiccuping through sentences, trying to choke out her words.

"Lets sit, and I'll tell you everything. I would offer to teleport, but we both know how that gets you." I chuckled, trying to lighten the atmosphere. Her tears threatened to choke me.

We sat on the grass, the moisture clinging to our skin.

"There are forces, not of this earth, that have a plan for you. Your soul and two others collided before your birth. Or, well, at your conceived date. Time doesn't work the same in that space, so it's hard to explain. But the fact still remains, they collided. It's an extreme case for you and your soul sister's however. Usually it happens through blood, and results in a strong and unbreakable bond. When it happens they way it has in your case however, it has a tendency to off set the balance. That offset tends to anger the forces at large, and causes a catastrophe."

Her eyes were wide, but she remained still, urging me on with her gaze.

"It can put a dampen on those who are strong enough to sense it, and now a war is brewing. One of your sisters is a princess, and her existence caused a rift between kingdoms. The kings and queens could sense her power, and so her parents planned to extort her and wed her off for their own benefit. She's not aware that she was in the middle of such, just that her parents were brutal and tried pushing her into marriage. She would've probably been raped. Her soul calls out for you and your other sister, but in doing so, it alerted those around her of her power. All that, despite the fact that her mother put a power dampener on her."

Zia looked like she wanted to interject, but remained respectful.

"Speak your mind child."

"So, where is she now?"

"In a secluded part of the Fae forest. Along with your other sister. But they're so far away, they haven't yet discovered eachother. I was actually planning on meeting with Alina tomorrow. Azreia is tucked away with the wolves for now." She seemed startled, and interjected.

"That can't be safe! Why in the hell would you do that?"

I laughed, happy that the bond was already clicking into place.

"They are her chosen family. She has spent so much of her childhood taking solace in them that we're thinking the godess may've blessed her with the ability to shift."

"So, a princess has lived with wolves and now may be a shifter. What, is she going to be the new Luna? Also, I thought shifters died out years ago?"

"She may, but I'm not yet sure of that. Honestly, that part seems a bit far fetched to me. I think her upbringing may sway her from that path. And no, they're still alive. Many are in hiding, trying to secretly rebuild away from mortals. But many have been cursed to their wolf form. When the hunting began, the witches paid no mind. However, after some kidnapping and killing, and extortion, many were forced to side with the mortals to protect their covens."

She sighed, shaking her head in remorse.

"And what of Alina?" She prompted. I could tell she was getting a bit excited at this news. She finally had something meant for her, and that was slowly healing a part of her, even now.

"Alina was found by my sister. Alina ended up transporting her entire village to the future as just an infant. It's why I only now located her. I stationed only those who I truly trusted in different time periods, waiting. It was enough to alert us, but hard to pinpoint exactly when. All we knew was she lived a few hundred years in the future." Gaping, she nodded me on.

"She has been traveling to a different spot to train. Though now, I'll bring us all together in the same spot. I don't know much of Alina's past, only that it was a bit bumpy. We will travel to Azreia, and set up camp there. The place is safe. And if you wish, Axel can come along with you. That is all the time we have for now however though. So I'd suggest getting back and talking to him."

11,619 words so far, idk if that's a small amount for the chapters or no? I try to stay over 1000 per chapter. I don't want to string out the chapters, but I don't know how much is too little and too much

Lemme know how you're feeling
