"As you've been informed, you share a long line of powerful shifters. Yet, you were stripped of that power. It is my belief that the goddess has bestowed upon you, your rightful bloodlines power. I've requested that Lia be at your side as her sister watches over her pups. The change can be painful, and, as it is a full moon tonight, should be easier on you." Koria told me as we walked. It was a brisk walk around the boarder of the woods.

The wolves were all back to human, and had been given clothes by Koria.

They were building houses, and they were quick, efficient, and strong. It astounded me, their strength and quickness.

I had heard that wolves, shifters in specific, were blessed with extra gifts. All of the base ones being strength and the ability of speed and quick healing, but I had also heard that some were blessed with other powers.

One woman was making the structure of one of the houses more stable by growing vines around the outside. Another, a male, was able to break down trees with magic, while another wolf was re-growing another tree in it's very spot.

It was a beautiful sight to watch. Absolutely enthralling.

I was so proud of them.

They had lost so much time, so much of their lives was them being forced to be stuck inside their second self.

While many were able to keep sane, and hold onto their human side by way of magic. Others, however, were learning to fight off the wolf instincts while human.

They may've been very catering to me while in their wolf form, but they still were trapped with the wolf. Both sides needed time themselves, which is why the full moon is a night all to the wolves catering.

That's also why the feel that same need to go on a run, and are so protective of their own. It's two animals sharing one mind.

Yet, they're so strong even after so long of being trapped. How they haven't gone absolutely mental, I had no idea.

"And how do we go about this shift? Is it automatic, or do I need to force it?"

Lea was walking towards us, and quickly piped up.

"It will be automatic. You have no real choice, as none of us have had. Your body will start to show signs. You'll get a rush of adrenaline. Meaning that you'll be more energetic, you'll want to move and run. You're sense of smell will heighten, as well as your hearing. We all have these natural advantages already, but it is heightened quite a bit more than normal." She explained to me.

"And the pain?" I asked.

She tried to keep herself from giving anything that could scare me away, but I could see the twitch in her lip. Almost like she wanted to curl it into a snarl.

"To be frank, it isn't too pleasant. But, as time goes by, and you shift more, you will learn to shift faster. It will become less painful." She explained to me.

I nodded, still a bit scared. I mean, honestly, who could say they weren't nervous to face inevitable pain?

I wasn't one to scare easy, but I was nervous.

"Changing topics, when will the other Supernaturals get here, and how are we to prepare?" I asked.

Lea and Koria both shared a look.

"That depends entirely on how your shift goes. If your shift reveals that you are too be Luna, then we will train you in such, if not, then It will be Lea leading. And they should be here in about a month. Meaning, that you and your sisters will need to train hard. Your training will be intense. But I have full faith that you three can handle it."

I had no doubt that this would be difficult, but her sugarcoating it, even just a bit, would be an easier pill to swallow.

I have worked so hard my entire life. I have fought to be approved by my parents, to be respected, to have a place in the kingdom. All those years of fighting, of being ridiculed for not being born the male heir they so desperately wanted, and for what? What did it matter now?

Now I must work towards a separate goal. A goal that serves a greater purpose. A goal to unite a nation I wasn't even really aware I was a part of. Yet, I didn't feel as though I didn't belong. No. No, I felt like I was right where I was meant to be all along.

Night was fast approaching.

They had had me sit and practice meditation with the entire pack for hours upon hours.

It was strength training, relaxation, abrupt.

We'd relax, we'd stretch, we'd break, we'd run, we'd stand for minutes to hours holding our arms out or balancing something. It was so strange, yet everyone seemed so used to it.

Lea explained to me that when they would first begin to shift after being around me, their human bodies were weak, so this us how they'd train.

It was mastering patience while also helping to strengthen your body.

We would balance wood on our arms, then lay on our back with our feet in the air and balance the wood on our feet. We would stretch and sit and chant together.

It felt a bit like a cult, what with the chanting. But as she explained, it was a simple spell used by the elder wolves in the past. It would help the packs keep up their Supernatural abilities, as well as share their strength and abilities throughout the pack.

It was a beautiful thing to be a part of, but I was still a bit nervous at the prospect of shifting.

As the moon came closer and closer to being centered in the sky, I started to feel the adrenaline rush through my body.

It was a strange type of rush, the kind that made you're entire body feel wired. I felt no fear, no anxiety, nothing could bring down my sudden spirit.

Lea had explained that you don't remember the pain in it's exact effect. She hadn't, however, mentioned just how enthralling the adrenaline would feel. It was like a drug, so beautiful. The type that would make you jump head first and naked into a frozen pond from the top of a tree.

Lea stood by me, her hands holding mine in hers.

"Let me know when you start to feel the shift." It was like a spell was spoken with those words, and suddenly my body started to feel tingly.

Nodding at her, she slowly guided me down onto my stomach in a low crouch.

Within minuets I was was beginning to feel an ache settling deep into my bones.

That ache grew into an incredible discomfort which then turned to pain. I black out for a few seconds after the first bone broke. I was in and out as my body began to contort into unnatural angles.

Before I knew it though, I was seeing from eyes not my own. And I felt a presence in my own mind. Without speaking, I knew it was my wolf, and I knew all she wanted to do was bound around and play. Despite the fatigue I felt, I also felt energized. The pain had quickly ebbed away, and now I was left with the lust of what was to come next.

My sense were heightened. I could hear the way the trees leaves moved in the breeze, the panting of the other wolves as they finished their shift.

I could smell everything. The dirt, the air, the trees, the other wolves.

It took me a moment to realize that all eyes were on me, that all the wolves had their heads bowed, almost life submission. But my wolf, she knew what I didn't.

It was submission.

Submission for me.
