"My, Dear, fierce little warrior. I'm sorry to be the one that stirrs your heart so violently. Lets talk, it's time I tell you what I brought you for."

"Alina was found by my sister. Alina ended up transporting her entire village to the future as just an infant. It's why I only now located her. I stationed only those who I truly trusted in different time periods. It was enough to alert us, but hard to pinpoint exactly when. All we knew was she lived a few hundred years in the future." Gaping, she nodded me on.○○○○○○○○○
Juny, late as it was, held up his end of the deal.
How he slept through the dawn, I have no clue. Both Genie and I were awoken by howls. They may've been far off, but they were terrifying.
Despite that however, I was excited when Juny started telling us about the woodland creatures.
"We're currently in the Fae forest. The Fae, as small in stature as they may be, are extremely strong and agile. Now, you have three very strong yet very different species that make up most of the population in theses woods. You have the wood nymphs, you'll probably never see them. After the last hunt, they've become quite the recluse bunch. Then you have the Fae, beautiful and clever creatures, but do not mistake them as naive. Next, you have some of the most gracefull creatures, Elves. They're extremely mysterious, breathtaking I've heard. Their magic is probably the strongest on this earth, and they tend to hide from human society. They could rule this earth, but have let the humans roam free. Don't ask me, I wouldn't have done such if I had that power, but it's their choice, not mine."
I couldn't believe what I was hearing, and neither could Genie, judging by her response.
Uhm, Lina, did we just fall down into Wonderland?
I shrugged.
"Who the hell knows at this point." I mumbled.
"It all feels like such a fever dream, I think I'm seriously in shock. Yet all of this feels so real and so damn right. I must be insane."
What if you've been in a coma all this time and created this while storyline in your coma stuck state. What if I'm not real? Am I just a figment of your imagination?
For once I snapped at her.
"Shut the hell up! I've been through too much shit for that. Lets just enjoy this Genie. I can't imagine life with out you, do not put me in a state of madness, second guessing my every movement and freaking out. This is not some game, nor an I dreaming."
I had never snapped at her, and I immediately felt bad.
"Look, I'm sorry. But I'm so damn stressed Genie. I need you on my side, not fucking playing mind games with me."
How do you think I feel Alina? We've been both been uprooted! I need to do something to un-dampen the spiral I can feel you tetering towards.
"By fucking with my mind?"
I ran out of ideas!
I sighed, knowing this was a losing battle.
"Fine. Just no more mind games, okay? I'll try not to spiral."
It's okay if you spiral, just . . . I don't know. I don't like to see you in denial. I know you haven't taken any real time to process this all. You're all I have Lina, I need you to be okay.
I picked her up and held her close to my chest.
"I'm okay. It's just starting to slowly seep in. And now that we've talked, it's hitting me harder now."
"I- I uhm, hate to interrupt, but Koria will be here soon. Change of plans." Juny spoke.
Both Genie and I let out an annoyed and perfectly synced sigh, followed by and eyeroll, all directed at the bird.
"I thou-"
"Yeah yeah, no refering to you as 'the bird'. Heard you loud and clear."
Genie and I both shared a laugh, and she climbed to rest on my shoulder. How she could balance so easily, still got me. She didn't even dig into me for balance.
Woah, he wasn't kidding when he said she'd be here soon. Genie spoke.
My eyes followed her line of sight, and I watched as a portal opened.
The first person out was a tall beautiful lady, astoundingly similar to the first witch who brought me here, must be sisters.
She was tall, long black hair nearly to her her knees. She was tall, gracefull. She wore a black cloak, fastened at the neck by a purple swirling rock at the neck. Under it was a tight fitting deep purple dress.
Out followed two more people
And her eyes, her eyes were a bright purple, that is until the portal closed and they morphed hazel.
I know that two more people exited, but they were gone in the blink of an eye.
With an equally suprised and amused look, Koria addresses me.
"Alina, my dear time traveler, welcome back to the past. It's great to see you. And I must assume that you're the fearless Genie?"
Genie perks up at the complement, before looking at Juny.
You said I was fearless? You like me! Admit it little birdie, you like me!
Koria chuckles, then addresses me again.
"I was going to have us moving a bit quicker, but it seems that Zia and Zody have something to attend to first. Lets catch up in the meantime."
Good, because, we have like, so many questions.
Koria laughs, but nods on.
I need some fried chicked, stat. Any idea where I could get some.
I shake my head in amusement at her. She's sitting at Korias feet, prompting Koria to squat down.
"I have never heard of it, but I know that we have a form of it here. "
Genie pouts, but perks up as another question comes to mind.
Are you the good guys? I love Lina, and I need to know she's safe. Don't doubt me witch lady, I could take you on like it's nobody's business.
Koria laughs and smiles before answering her.
"Yes, we're the good guys. Your Familiar was born in this time, but due to a surge in her powers when she was younger, the whole village was uprooted. To restore balance, my sister did have to bring the village back, but have since relocated them. They're far away. Both of you are safe." Genie smiles, then bows her head at Koria before running to me and jumping onto my shoulders.
"Now, lets talk of todays plans, shall we?"
A/N
Well, that was . . . Something.
Lemme know how you're feeling.
And no, I promise this book will not end with her waking up and it all being a dream. I'm not that rude.Vote to boost my ego, comment to your hearts desires.
