I could feel her fighting. Fighting off the curse. Fighting for what was right. Fighting.
I know I wasn't supposed to, but I had to say something. She was my soulmate after all.
I couldn't sneak out to watch her recover. So I sent one of the fae, whose gift, one of many, was invisibility. Through her eyes, I watched as my mate lay motionless on the ground. They had made her a bed of blankets, and covered her from the stomach down with a blanket.
I could see her chest moving ever so slightly with every inhale and every exhale.
Not knowing how long she'd be unconscious, I decided to speed up the process with magic.
Thinking of her through the Faes eyes, I was able to create a bubble of healing magic around her. It was the best I could do for now.
We will meet again my mate, all you have to do is wait.
