"I think the rain is going to come soon" he said softly, his voice blending with the rustling of the leaves and the distant roll of thunder. He glanced to the side, his lips curving into a gentle smile as he met the gaze of the person sitting next to him
Taehyung, sitting close beside Jungkook, nodded in agreement, his own smile mirroring the younger boy's "It's so peaceful and chilly. I wish this rainy season would never end" he replied, his voice filled with a dreamy longing as he looked out over the pond, admiring the lotus flowers that floated gracefully on the surface
Jungkook chuckled softly, his eyes bright with excitement "Hyung, then let's enjoy this rain together"
Taehyung's expression turned to one of concern as he looked at Jungkook "But Jungkook, what if you get col-"
Before he could finish his sentence, the sky opened up, and rain began to pour down, the drops heavy and cold as they drenched both of them within moments. Jungkook's laughter rang out, clear and joyful as he stood in the open, his clothes sticking to his skin, water running down his face. Taehyung pouted in mock annoyance but couldn't help the smile that tugged at his lips "Too late for any concern, aren't we?" Jungkook teased, his eyes sparkling with mischief
Taehyung sighed in defeat, nodding his head in agreement, though he had a feeling Jungkook had something else in mind. The younger boy's eyes kept drifting towards the pond, and before he could voice any further protests, Jungkook grabbed his wrist, pulling him up to his feet
"What are you-" Taehyung began, but his words were cut off by a startled gasp as the teen suddenly yanked them both into the pond. The cold water embraced them instantly, pulling them under with a loud splash. Taehyung's breath caught in his throat as he sank beneath the surface, his body instinctively struggling to find balance in the dark, murky water. The world above became a blur of rain and ripples, and panic started to grip him as he flailed, trying to make sense of his surroundings
But then, a familiar hand reached out and gripped his wrist, steadying him. It was Jungkook, his eyes calm and focused as he guided them deeper into the pond, away from the bridge. Taehyung's panic subsided slightly as he followed his lover's lead, though his heart still pounded in his chest
