Yoongi woke up in a world that seemed to blend into a blurry haze, yet there was an unexpected sense of tranquility. For the first time in what felt like an eternity, he had managed to sleep so deeply. His long, black hair was tangled and stuck to his pale skin, while his lips were set in a visible pout. His eyebrows were drawn together in a furrow, and he let out a groggy whine, a sign of his disrupted slumber. His hand reached out instinctively to the side, searching for the warmth he had grown accustomed to, but the emptiness beside him snapped him fully awake. He blinked his eyes several times and groaned in frustration when he found no trace of the person he had shared his bed with the previous night. He wished he could wake up to that handsome morning face once again

After a moment of hesitation, he dragged himself out of bed and wrapped his naked body in a white bathrobe. As he stepped down the stairs, his sharp eyes softened when he saw Taehyung sitting on the couch. Taehyung was elegantly sipping on alcohol early in the morning, his gaze lost in the view through the wide glass balcony. Yoongi's heart ached at the sight. Each step he took was accompanied by a growing euphoria from the previous night's events, and he couldn't help but smile like a man who had lost his mind. But before he could voice his happiness, Taehyung abruptly turned to look at him, a frown marring his delicate features

"Did you block Jungkook's number and social media accounts on my phone?" Taehyung's eyes were narrowed, and Yoongi's face showed annoyance at the mention of Jungkook's name

"Yes, I even got you a new SIM card" Yoongi replied tersely, his gaze fixed on Taehyung's every move. He settled into the couch opposite him, who stared at his drink, lost in thought "You sent him that video. You shouldn't have done that"

"Were you planning to unblock Jungkook?" Yoongi's irritation was pretty evident, already knowing his response but still hoping for something different and yes, Taehyung's answer was unexpected

"No, I wasn't. Just don't send anything to him. I want to forget him. I don't want him to get involved"

Yoongi's smile widened as he stood and approached Taehyung, his heart swelling with affection. He gently placed his hands on the younger's jaw, his eyes full of warmth "With me around, you'll never have to recall his existence. I promise you that, baby"

Taehyung's lips quivered at his words. Slowly, almost reluctantly, he pulled Yoongi's hands away from his face "About y-yesterday-"

"Did you like it, baby?"

Taehyung's face fell as he responded, his voice heavy with dismay "Hyung, you cheated on your fiancée with me"

Yoongi fell silent for a moment, his gaze dropping to the floor as he processed the weight of the words. Finally, he shook his head "She knows" he said, causing Taehyung's eyes to widen in shock

"What?" Taehyung's voice was barely audible

"She knows about you and me. She didn't say anything, and I don't think she has an issue either" Yoongi continued, his gaze drifting outside. He was grappling with the reality of his actions. What had happened between him and Taehyung was not born of love but was a distraction for the younger, who needed to escape his emotional turmoil. He understood that Taehyung still had feelings for Jungkook, which was why he was causing himself so much pain right?

Yoongi's lips curled into a rueful smile. He wasn't going to force Taehyung to feel anything for him. He simply wanted to be close to him despite the boundaries that existed. His repressed feelings still clung to a glimmer of hope "You know, Tae, I understand what you're thinking. Don't worry about anything. I know the boundaries and what you want"

Taehyung took another gulp of alcohol, the burning sensation in his throat mixing with the fuzziness in his head. He sighed deeply, his voice tinged with resignation "Don't become like me, hyung"
