Liming has been hemming and hawing the entire time he was seated at the convenience store, thinking about North's question earlier. They were going to hold a small vigil for his brother and North invited him. He was pretty sure that Heart wouldn't like it if he went to it, but that made it all the more desirable. He has been running his finger along the edges of his biology textbook wondering if he should actually go there.

When he had come to the convenience store that afternoon, he was extremely glad to see that Taro was nowhere to be seen. Only Heart knew about what happened and he didn't want anyone else to know because they would definitely stop him from coming to work and that would cut off his single supply of income. Taro's father, who was the owner of the shop was at the cashier and he gladly welcomed him. Liming made sure to ask him however if he can leave the shop for a little while and the shop owner replied that he would stay during that time.

And here he was, seated in next to Mr. Sakuljaroensuk wondering if he should actually go there.

"You've been counting chickens for a while, Liming" the shop owner said, raising his gaze from his spectacles, "Planning to go anytime soon?"

It was weird that Liming felt completely comfortable with Mr. Sakuljaroensuk considering the fact that his son tried to rape him a day ago, but Liming couldn't stop feeling it. Mr. Sakuljaroensuk was like a grandfather—a jolly, old Santa type of person and seeing him in the shop brought great relief to him. However if Mr. Sakuljaroensuk knew about what happened between his son and Liming, will he do anything about it? Or pretend like it never happened?

"Should I?" Liming asked, "I mean they all hate me"

Mr. Sakuljaroensuk sighed and turned towards Liming before dropping his newspaper on the counter, "I don't think they hate you, kid. They're all grieving, just like you. Everyone knows how your brother died. So stop thinking about it like you're the reason he's dead and just go to it. You deserve to spend time socializing"

"Socializing with people who might murder me in my sleep? No, thank you" Liming groaned, leaning back against the chair.

"Is that kid outside someone who wants to murder you too then?" Mr. Sakuljaroensuk asked nodding towards the exit as Liming sat up from his chair, looking over.

"Kid outside?"

"I asked him to come inside and he just asked me if Taro was in" the shop owner replied, "I thought it was one of Taro's younger friends, but judging from his uniform, I figured that he must've come to you"

Liming rolled his eyes before hopping off the chair to walk to the entrance and open the door, "I mean, if you can figure that out just by a uniform you—Heart?"

Heart was standing a couple of feet away from the store, kicking stones on the ground with his hands plunged in his trouser pockets. The moment Liming called out his name, however, the boy looked up, surprised.

"See? He is there for you" the shop keeper yelled, before Liming closed the door behind him.

"What are you doing here?" Liming asked, crossing his arms over his chest.

"Uh" Heart blinked, looking everywhere but at Liming, "You... uhh left something. At school"

Liming's eyebrows scrunched up with confusion as he stared at Heart, "Huh? What?"

Heart stared at him for a while before, bringing one hand up from his pocket, to brush his nose, "It's... it's back at school"

"Eh?"

"Come on, I'll take you there" Heart said, walking towards his motorcycle—since when did Heart ride a motorcycle?

Liming didn't move, as he narrowed his eyes to look at him, "You came here to inform me that I left something at school?"
