I
"I was just someone, in this lonely city, I was just nobody until you came and took my heart; It's as if my room has changed its color, It's so beautiful that nothing else can compare; Oh the time has stopped, this city isn't lonely anymore because I have you today"
—Three Man Down ft. Aom Telex Telexes, "City"
It was closer to midnight when Liming woke up—cheeks tainted with tears, to the sound of stones against a glassy surface. Imagining the worst, Liming slipped off his bed to walk over to the window, and just as he imagined, it was Heart, standing outside the gate with a couple of stones in his hand, aiming at Liming's window. Liming breathed shakily before he started to run out of the room on his tiptoes, hoping that he won't accidentally wake up his uncle. With his heart (organ) at his throat, fingers shivering with anticipation, he rushed out the front door, the gate and right into Heart's arms.
"Ming" Heart whispered, wrapping his arms tight around Liming's shoulders, as he pressed kisses along his neck.
Liming's throat was clogged with emotion as his arms wrapped tightly around Heart's waist, leaning into his warm comfort. He didn't know how or why Heart was here, but his familiar warmth managed to make Liming forget about everything that had happened since the last time he saw him. Everything was replaced by Heart, his warmth and his kisses. He was here. He was actually here.
"Ming" Heart pulled back to cup Liming's cheeks which was once again tainted with tears, "Ming, baby. What did my dad tell you?"
It was too dark, and Heart couldn't see Liming's lips and so when Liming tried explaining he was just confused the entire time. Seeing his expressions broke Liming more—Heart became deaf because of him. If Liming didn't kiss him, if Liming didn't sleep with him, if Liming didn't fall in love with him, if Liming didn't make Heart fall for him, none of this would've happened. Heart's dad was right. He was to be blamed.
Liming took a step back, holding Heart's cold cheek, as he brushed a tear that ran down from Heart's eyes, "Go"
No matter how dark it was, Heart could make out the word that left Liming's lips and he shook his head, "No"
"Go, please" Liming said, as Heart's eyes completely focused on Liming's lips.
"No" Heart whispered as his hold around Liming's waist got tighter, "Fuck no"
"Heart" Liming said, as he started choking out sobs, "Please"
"No"
"You fucking stubborn asshole" Liming cried, as he leaned his forehead against Heart's chest, "Fuck you. Fuck... fuck you, Heart. Fuck"
"Ming" Heart croaked, as he started rubbing Liming's neck, "Ming"
Liming sniffled back his tears, as he lifted his head. His eyes were clouded with tears and Heart was no different. He leaned in, pressing his lips against Heart's, as his sobs mixed with Heart's choking sobs. They cried, they kissed, they cried again and they kissed again. Their kisses didn't taste like mint like earlier. It was salty, yet still passionate enough to drive Liming over the edge. Liming wanted to pull Heart inside, to keep him wrapped up on his bed, to never let anyone come closer to him. Liming wanted to protect him with everything he's got. Heart's fingers slipped through Liming's t-shirt, fingers pressing into the familiar warmth, as Liming gasped—which Heart swallowed dutifully.
Heart's fingernails were digging into his flesh—pulling, pinching, wanting—wanting more and more and more. And Liming's soft mewls blended into Heart's cries, as they both battled to feel each other more. A light flickered in the distance—Lung Jim, which Heart saw before Liming did. Heart gripped Liming's waist and pushed him against the wall, as Liming gasped once again, wanting to breathe. Heart's lips ran down along Liming's jaw line as he pressed soft kisses along his neck and chest. Liming's fingers ran through Heart's hair, pulling and pushing.
