(This chapter will be short, I have work in 3 hours, I'm so sorry 🥺🙏🏻)

As they rode back to Camelot, Arthur couldn't shake off the feeling that the sorceress's words had left him with. The ancient power will rise... What did it mean? Was it just an empty threat, or was there truth to it?

Merlin, sensing his unease, rode closer to him. "Arthur, what troubles you?"

Arthur hesitated, unsure if he should share his concerns. But Merlin's eyes were understanding, and he knew he could trust his friend.

"The sorceress's words," Arthur said, his voice low. "She spoke of an ancient power rising. What do you think she meant?"

Merlin's expression turned thoughtful. "I'm not sure, Arthur. But I think we should investigate further. There are ancient legends about a powerful entity that lies dormant beneath Camelot. Some say it's a dragon, others a powerful sorcerer. But one thing is certain: if it's true, we need to be prepared."

Arthur nodded, his mind racing with possibilities. "I want you to research everything you can about this entity, Merlin. I need to know what we're up against."

Merlin nodded, his eyes already gleaming with excitement. "I'll start immediately, Arthur. But we should also speak with Gaius. He's been studying the ancient lore of Camelot for years. He might know something that can help us."

As they approached the castle, Arthur spotted Gaius waiting for them in the courtyard. The old physician's face was lined with concern, and Arthur knew that he had already sensed something was amiss.

"Arthur, Merlin," Gaius said, his voice low. "I've been studying the ancient texts, and I think I've found something that might interest you."

Arthur dismounted, his heart pounding with anticipation. "What is it, Gaius?"

Gaius hesitated, glancing around the courtyard before speaking in a hushed tone. "I've found a prophecy, Arthur. One that speaks of a great and ancient power rising from the depths of the earth. It's said to be a time of great turmoil and change, and I fear that we're running out of time to prepare."

Arthur's eyes locked onto Merlin's, and he saw the same concern reflected back at him. The ancient power will rise... It was no longer just a threat; it was a prophecy.

"What do we do, Gaius?" Arthur asked, his voice firm.

Gaius's eyes sparkled with determination. "We prepare, Arthur. We gather our allies, and we defend our kingdom against whatever darkness is coming our way."

As the three of them stood there, united in their determination, the shadows around them seemed to grow longer, as if the very darkness itself was listening in, waiting for its chance to strike.

//How's that? Should I continue this story? I feel as if it's horrendous.. it's the first one I've written.
