Soon Shukla family went to the Gill's house to fix their marriage. At the very first look both Rita Ji and Ashok Ji liked Shehnaaz just like Santokh Ji and Parminder Ji liked Sidharth. Now they didn't have any second thought in agreeing to this intercaste marriage.

Meanwhile both Sidharth and Shehnaaz felt something in their hearts after seeing each other. But they couldn't express it in front of their families and kept blushing while looking down. From inside they both were waiting for that moment when their families would ask them to talk privately.

"Yeh dekho. Kab se hum bade hi baat kiye jaa rahe hai. Bacchon ko toh mauka hi nahi mil raha apas mein baatein karne ka." Said Parminder Ji suddenly hearing which both Sidharth and Shehnaaz's faces light up.

"Haan. Tum dono chaho toh akele mein jaa ke baatein kar sakte ho. Iss se ek dusre ko behtaar jaan paaoge." Said Rita Ji.

"Zaroor." Said Sidharth and Shehnaaz together excitedly and the next moment realised what they just did.

The elders chuckled seeing their excitement while they became embarassed.

"Mera matlab tha.... Zaroor. Koi problem nahi hai.... Chaliye Sidharth...Ji.." Said Shehnaaz nervously to which Sidharth nodded.

Then they both left from there.

"Kya Mummy aap ko yeh pehle hi keh dena chahiye tha. Dono mare jaa rahe the akele baat karne ke liye." Whispered Shehbaaz to which Parminder Ji eyed him, asking him to stay quiet.

On the other hand, Shehnaaz took Sidharth to her room. Entering her room, he looked around and saw her room carefully. It was small yet beautifully organized.

"Aap apna room kaafi saja ke rakhti hai." He said.

"Haan. Mujhe pasand hai." Replied Shehnaaz. "Aap nahi rakhte?"

"Itna saja ke toh nahi rakhta par saaf rakhta hoon."

"Don't worry. Main aa jaau na phir aap ke room ko bhi saja dungi."

Sidharth smiled hearing that. Then his eyes fell on her book-shelf. There were a lot of books.

"You like reading books?" Asked Sidharth taking out a book from the book-shelf.

"Yeah. Books are my best friends." Replied Shehnaaz.

He saw the author's name and said, "Shakespeare? Impressive! Mere room mein dhundogi toh sirf Engineering ki kitaabein milengi."

"Matlab aap ko kitaabon ka shaukh nahi hai?"

"Not that much."

Saying that, Sidharth kept the book at its place.

"Hum balcony mein jaa ke baatein kare?" Asked Shehnaaz after sometime.

"Sure." Replied Sidharth and they went to the balcony.

They kept standing at the balcony while thinking what to talk about. It was an awkward situation for both of them. Also Shehnaaz was expecting Sidharth to initiate a conversation but he was too nervous to ask her something thinking that she would mind.

"Aap puch sakte hai aap ko jo puchna hai." Said Shehnaaz herself so that Sidharth didn't hesitate to ask her anything.

Sidharth nodded and again started thinking.

"Aane se pehle itna practice kar ke aaya tha phir bhi inke saamne meri bolti band hogayi. Ab kaise baat suru karu? Kahi yeh meri kisi baat ka bura na maan jaaye." He said in his mind.
