"Sidharth... Main bol rahi thi ki... Yaaha aana zaroori tha?... Hum direct Mumbai chale jaate na..." Said Shehnaaz smiling nervously while walking towards her house.

"Meri jaan shaadi se pehle humein gharwalon ko inform kar dena chahiye. Unki blessings ke bina shaadi nahi ho sakti. Aur mujhe tumse chhup ke shaadi nahi karni, sabki marzi se tumhe utha ke apne saath Mumbai leke jaana hai." Said Sidharth trying to convince Shehnaaz.

"Tum mere gharwalon ko jaante nahi. Humare ghar mein pustaini banduk hai. Woh blessings bhi denge toh goliyon se. Do yaaha aur ek yaaha... "

Shehnaaz pointed towards his chest and forehead.

"Upar se unke saamne se tum mujhe bhaga ke le gaye the. Unhone tumhe dekha hai. Abhi agar hum aise ek mahine baad, bina shaadi kiye unke saamne gaye toh...." Shehnaaz got scared thinking that and said, "Kyu bekar mein hero ban na hai? Chalo na wapas chalte hai...."

Shehnaaz was about to turn back when Sidharth stopped her and said pushing her forward, "Udhar nahi idhar jaana hai."

They both stood in front of the house. After hesitating a lot, Shehnaaz took a deep breath and knocked at the door. Soon Shehnaaz's cousin sister Harpreet opened the door and her eyes got widened seeing Sidharth and Shehnaaz standing there.

Shehnaaz smiled nervously and said, "Dekh Harpreet... Abhi kisi ko mat bulana haan... Mujhe samjhane ka mauka de... Asal mein main aur Sidharth...."

"Taujiiiii....."

Harpreet ran inside while calling Shehnaaz's father without giving her a chance to explain. In no time, the whole Gill family came at the door and glared at Sidharth and Shehnaaz. They looked at each other and gulped their saliva.

"Maine kaha tha hero mat bano... Ab gaye kaam se..." Murmured Shehnaaz making crying faces.

Shehnaaz's father came forward, a gun was hanging over his shoulder seeing which Sidharth got scared at first. But the next moment he took a deep breath and stepped forward.

Deep down he knew what could happen to him but now he couldn't step back. He looked at Shehnaaz's father's expression and was about to touch his feet when he held his shoulders tightly stopping him. Sidharth started shivering in fear.

"Mu..jhe...jaane...di..jiye..." Said Sidharth but his voice was not audible.

"Damad Ji!" Said Shehnaaz's father and hugged him tightly leaving him shocked. But then he smiled nervously and gave a sigh of relief.

Shehnaaz looked at them being confused when Shehnaaz's mother and aunt went to her.

"Shehnaaz Puttar! Tussi kithe si? Humein kinni fikar ho rahi thi teri. Shaadi ke baad hi sahi, milne aa jaati kam se kam..." Said Shehnaaz's mother caressing her head.

"Mummy woh... humne shaadi nahi kiyi abhi tak...." Said Shehnaaz gathering courage.

Shehnaaz's father broke the hug hearing that and looked at Sidharth and Shehnaaz.

"Yeh toh hor changi gal si!" He said smiling. "Ab sab ke saamne tum dono ki shaadi hogi, pure reeti riwazon ke saath. Koi keh nahi paayega ki Gill Sahab ki beti ne bhag ke shaadi kar liyi. Humari khoyi hui izzat wapas aa jaayegi."

"Matlab aap logo ko koi problem nahi hai?" Asked Shehnaaz not being able to believe that her family accepted them so easily.

"Arrey pehle das deti ki inna sohna munda hai. Hum pehle hi maan jaate tum dono ki shaadi ke liye." Said Shehnaaz's mother looking at Sidharth and the whole family started laughing.
