"Hello... Who's this?"

Ryan's voice brought Shehnaaz back to sense. She composed herself and said with trembling voice, "W..woh.. ladki... Kaun thi... Ryan?"

Ryan paused for a while and said in a serious tone, "Kaun bol rahi hai?"

"Ab tu meri awaz bhi bhul gaya?"

"Sana?" Asked Ryan to confirm. She didn't say anything and her silence made him sure that it was Shehnaaz.

"Tujhe mera number kaha se mila?"

"Woh ladki kaun thi?" Asked Shehnaaz again, this time firmly.

Meanwhile, Sidharth understood what was going on by hearing her words and seeing her face. But he hoped it not to be true.

Ryan sighed and said in a low voice, "Dekh Sana, woh Elena hai, my girlfriend...."

Shehnaaz's heart broke hearing that. In her biggest nightmare, she never thought something like this would happen.

"Aur main?" She whispered controlling her tears.

"Come on yaar... I thought jab maine tujhe ignore karna start kiya toh tu samajh gayi hogi main tere saath break-up karna chahta hoon. Mumbai mein mujhe Elena mili and I fell for her. Humare bich jo tha tu please usse bhul ja. It's over now."

"Bhul jaau?" Asked Shehnaaz with disbelief. "Ryan meri shaadi hone wali thi. Main waha se bhag ke aayi hoon Mumbai, apna sab kuch chhor ke, sirf tere liye. Aur tu keh raha hai ki tu ab kisi aur se pyaar karta hai? How could you do this?"

"Wait! What? Tu Mumbai.... Tu just aise hi Mumbai chali aayi mujhse milne? Oh God!... You know what, I don't even regret my decision of leaving you. Tere jaisi pagal se peecha toh chhuta. And Elena is thousands times better than you."

"Aur mera kya Ryan? Ek baar socha hai mere baare mein? Main yaaha kya karungi?"

"That's not my problem. Maine tujhe Mumbai aane ko nahi kaha tha. Bas tujhe ek advise dunga, tu jaise Mumbai aayi hai, waise hi wapas Mohali chali jaa. Because I'm not coming back to you. Aage se call mat karna."

"Nahi, Ryan tu aisa nahi kar sakta... You know that I love you... Ryan... Hello... Hello..."

The call got cut and Shehnaaz kept standing there numb.

"Shehnaaz kya hua? Kya kaha Ryan ne?" Asked Sidharth being worried though he guessed what might have happened. "Kahi woh..."

"Woh kisi aur ke saath hai... He cheated on me." Said Shehnaaz while tears rolled down her cheeks.

Sidharth was shocked and also scared thinking what would now happen to Shehnaaz.

"Usne chhor diya mujhe Sidharth... Uska pyaar khatam ho gaya... Sab khatam ho gaya..."

Shehnaaz couldn't control herself anymore and burst into tears. She was about to fell down while Sidharth held her protectively in his arms. He didn't know why but his heart broke seeing her in that devasted situation. Anger rushed through his veins thinking about Ryan who cheated on her and broke her to this extent. He never knew that loving someone, could be this painful.

Later that day...

Shehnaaz was sitting in Diya's room being lost in her own thoughts while Sidharth and Diya were standing outside.

"Jab se aayi hai, thik se baat tak nahi kiyi. Sirf ro rahi thi. Maine kaha jitne din yaaha hai, mere room mein stay kare. Akeli rahi toh kya paata kuch ulta seedha kar baithe. Maine thik kiya na Bhaiya?" Said Diya in a low voice to which Sidharth nodded. His eyes were fixed at Shehnaaz who was sitting on the bed sadly.
