My eyes slowly got open, I blink severally before I finally got a sight of where I was. I was inside my room beside me is a woman.." my mom". She was staring at me but I feel she was crying, my eyes runs the whole room then stopped at my dad , who was beside the window staring outside. He was also crying. I got only more confused why every is crying, what has happened to me?, Where is xiaofei. I signed out loud which got my parents attention, they stared at me. She hurry gave me a tight hug.
" Thank goodness you are back to us " she sob out. My dad rush towards me placing his hands at mine.
" My dearest daughter... You are alive" tears runs down his cheeks. " I will never let anything happen to you again " he muttered out.
" What are you two saying?.. I don't understand!. " I muttered out confused.
They stared at each other with saying a word.
I gave out a sigh trying to sit up right, dad help me out while mom went out of the room, she spend some minutes before coming back with a tray containing some fruits.
" You have to eat this " mom whispered to me, she help me peal out some handling it to me
" What happened to me ?" I requested for an answer they only started surprised at me.
" Don't tell us you don't have any idea what has happened to you." Mom ask out. But I shake my head off.
" We fond you lying beside the tree out side, we called the physician to come check up on you but he instructed us you were dead!" Dad narrated.
" Only that?.. did he also tell you who killed me?" Mom and dad stared surprised at me.
" He said you encounter a strong power that kill you!!.." mom added.
" Power...!!" I stared surprised at them." Did he you guys what the power is?" I deeply want to know everything because I can't really recall what happened to me, am just confused. What power did I encountered, I don't think I faught with anyone ... I was only with xiaofei...yess...he only lock his lips at mine and this happen to me...
" Yesss...." I screamed out, my parents stared confused at me.
" What....!!" Mom asked.
" Yes..I remember" I muttered out.
" What did you remember?" Dad asked out giving me a questioning look, but so stupid of me, I just forgot what I remember, I couldn't think any longer, I couldn't even remember the name. What is wrong with me , why I'm I acting this way, as if I'm getting insane.
" Are you okay..." They ask out but I douth if I was okay, something is definitely wrong with me. Just then, a flash of what happened came up my head.
" A kiss....yess.. " I yelled out running my fingers at my lips, mom only started sobbing, I never got to know why she was sobbing but dad took her way.
They lock the door to prevent me from going outside. I wa serve by my mom but sometimes by my dad. Several physician came to check what was wrong with me, they come up with different report like 'shes been transfer with power of love and the rest. But never got to mention that spirit.

That morning, I wake up from my sleep, I think I remember everything, the door got open and mom walk in. She lock the door when she was in. She sat beside me with a tray, I was still lying in bed
" How do you wake?" She ask out but I only nodded.
"Mom!..." I call out she raise a brow at me.
" Did the physician tell you anything about the spirit who transfer the..the...."
" Noo..my dear "
" When you guys saw me, was I covered with my clothes or my face was been seen?"
" Why asking all this ? Do you remember anything?".
" Ahh..no, I only want to know."
" You were properly covered " she muttered.
Do you have any idea who might have done that?"
"No. . . I don't know". She muttered.
" Please have your breakfast".
She muttered before leaving the room. I got inside the bathroom to freshen up myself, I got my clothes off but there was a sharp pain behind my back.i stared at the mirror which was inside the bathroom staring at my back. A mark , but it looks like a tattoo, I stared closely towards the mirror. It was spelt XIA❤️OFEI. I remember of xiaofei, who wrote his name behind me , I got really scared, I quickly freshen up and got dress. but them I remember the gift he gave to me. I went in search of the clothes which I deep the gift. I finally found it, I empty the pocket, I went to bed trying to get the box open. It was really difficult in getting it open.
On it was a diamond necklace and a bangle. It looks beautiful and shinning. I drop it turning towards the other gift. I tried opening it but then I stop because I heard footsteps approaching my room.i hide them inside the pillow cases. Not long my dad came in
" How are you feeling now? " He asked warming my temperature with his back of palm." I'm feeling much better now.!" I assured him.
" You haven't eaten" he muttered staring at the tray at the table. I have eailer forgotten mom brought me some breakfast.
" I just finished having a bath".
" Alright, have your meal so you can take your medicine."
" Medicine for what?".
" For your health" sliding his thump finger at my cheek.he spend o much time with me as not going for work , after having my meal I had my medicine. He advice me to have some rest.i had to lye back in bed closing my eyes . The moment I shut my eyes, it was as if my nightmare were waiting for me. I was fast gone.but this one wasn't really bad. I was in a dark place, can't really figure out the place .
" I need to speak to you " a voice spoke iot , I wasn't really surprised because I experience it every day. I stared at the direction, I could see his face, he wasn't covering anything.
" Why ...." I boldly speak out, not wanting to be intimidated.
" Because, the are lot you have no knowledge of".
" What knowledge do you want me to have ?" I asked out giving him a questioning look.
" About who you love!".
" Who I love ?.." he nodded out." I don't love anyone do stop your nonsense."
"Ahahaha....🤣🤣🤣 Then if you don't love, why the transfer of it?" He shut out a brow at me.
" Do you have any idea who did this to me?" But he only laughed out widely.
" Isn't it surprising that you don't know who got you in that condition? Orr .. you are just pretending not to know?.."
" I have no idea what you are talking about!"
"Ahh....ahh girls like you die like birds.." he muttered in a mockry tone." You never ask deep questions, you are married to someone and you have no idea of....."
" Stop talking nonsense..I'm not married to anyone."
" Then, you can show the name at your back to your parent." Then I remembered the name at my back.
" Do you have any knowledge about who wrote that name there?..." I yelled out staring wide at him.
" Yelling won't help you miss.... if you never accepted him, you won't have accepted the kiss..."
The kiss.. I was right, the kiss got me into this.
" Who is he?" I turn but he only gave out a frown .
" Why asking me...Orr are scared to ask him?..to get the true knowledge and details is to ask him, he will tell you everything you need to know.
" I can't find him, I haven't seen him for months now"
" Then you look for him " he muttered out. Then he was gone. I search everywhere but couldn't find him, I forgotten to ask for his name....
Just then I was having another dream. I sat beside the water when someone started pulling his or her self out of the water. Some of the hair covering part of his face, he pull it aside and it was "XIAOFEI" he only smile at me showing his pure white teeth. I rush towards him but he was not with his legs but a tail , I fish tail. I only got confused.
" Who are you" I stared out also scared.
"I'm xiaofei !.." he muttered with a smile.
" I don't mean your name!!.." yelling out in frustrating.
" Your friend!!.." if you aren't talking about my name!".
" Don't act smart, that's not what am asking.."
" Alright.. I'm your husband...them."
" When have you got married to me !!.." I yelled out but then I wake up.
I stared round the room but every were was dark , i hot the light on pulling out the pillow, i hot the little bag open and on it was a little fish tail.i only hot mbire confuse, how dud ye give me this. I was still staring at it when the door got open, i couldn't hide it anymore because dad had already seen it. He rush towards me
" What is that " he muttered " who gave this to you ? " I could see that surprise look he got.
"Some..one..gave it to me !" I stammer out, he took it away Frome me rushing outside. I didn't see him for some hours. I only sat at the bed calculating everything.
After about two to three hours, he came back with a physician who was with the tail.
" Nothing is to be down, shes already married to a merman, it's already late" he muttered shaking off his head." Shes already bearing his offspring inside her." He went further to explain thing to dad. But how.. when ... He turned towards my dad and they both went out. ....
