The atmosphere was thick with tension and raw emotion. Vridhi, her face tear-streaked and eyes red from crying, sat huddled on the bed, her hands trembling slightly. Aarushi and Arya were on either side of her, trying to console her.
Aarushi( softly):- Devrani sa aap kyu ro rahi ho,aapki koi galti nahi hai jiski galti thi use saza mil gayi, police use jail le gayi.
(Devrani, why are you crying? It's not your fault. The person who was at fault has been punished; the police have taken him to jail.)
Arya( firmly):- Ha bhabhisa aap mat roiye,aur hame rona nahi hai aise logo ko rulana hai.
( Yes, Bhabhisa, don't cry. We should make people like him cry instead.)
Aarushi:- Ha Arya devranisa sahi keh rahi hai.
( Yes, Arya, Devrani is right.)
Vridhi, listening to their comforting words, began to calm down, her breathing slowly evening out.
Aarushi:-Ye lijiye pani pijiye.
( Here, have some water.)
Vridhi:- Nahi bhabhisa.

Kiana( sleepily):- Sho toh layi thi pal meli neend thul dayi aap dithi nayi ithliye aapto dhul rayi thi.
(So toh rahi thi par meri neend khul gayi aap dikhi nahi isliye aapko dhud rahi thi.)
( I was sleeping, but I woke up. I couldn't see you, so I was looking for you.)
Aarushi(with a soft smile):- Ab mai mil gayi toh aap jao maasa thodi der mai aati hai.
( Now that you've found me, go back to sleep. Maasa will come after a while.)
Kiana:- Otey mai daati hu pal kakisa lo tyu layi hai.
(Ok,mai jaati hu par kakisa ro kyu rahi hai.)
(Okay, I'll go, but tell me why kakisa is crying?)
Aarushi:- Mai aapko baad mai bataungi aap jao abhi so jao.
( I'll tell you later. Go to sleep now.)
Kiana( determined):- Nahi pelle batado kakisa tyu lo layi hai.
(Nahi pehle batado kakisa kyu ro rahi hai.)
(No, tell me first)
Aarushi:- Kiana zidd nahi karte.
( Kiana don't be stubborn.)
Arya:- Kiana mai batati hu aapko.
( Kiana,I'll tell you.)
Kiana:- Tacchi.
( Sacchi)
( Really.)
Arya:- Ha,aap yaha baitho.
( Yes come sit here.)
