(Sitting in Peter's room, Ned holds the web-shooter. It projects a hologram of the city. Peter hops onto the bed next to Ned. "This is so awesome." Says Ned. "I know right?" Says Peter. Ned pokes it and the model becomes more defined. "They're in Brooklyn." Peter says. Later, Ned is still studying the hologram and Peter is hanging upside down, eating chips.)

"Why?" Stephen asks with a raised eyebrow. "Because it's fun and I can." Says Peter.

("Staten Island." Night has fallen. "Leaving New Jersey." With a shooter, Peter projects a characterized image of his mask on the wall.)

    "The spider signal!" Peter says.

"Why exactly did you make that?" Pepper asks Tony.

"Because it's awesome." Tony says and Pepper smiles while shaking her head. 'Like father like son.'

("They stopped." Ned says. Peter pops into frame, hanging from the ceiling, and says, "Maryland." "What's there?" "I don't know. Evil lair?" "They have a lair?")

"Of course. It's classic villain behavior." Says Kamala.

"How do you know what classic villain behavior is?" Sam asks.

    "Anime and comic books."

("Dude." Peter says, "A gang with alien guns run by a guy with wings? Yeah, they have a lair." "Badass. But how are you gonna get there if it's, like, 300 miles away?" They both look at the Academic Decathlon poster and Peter says, "It's not too far from D.C.")

"Wow. Now that is lucky." Says Jen and Peter sighs.

"Unfortunately that means I'll probably have bad luck later."

(Midtown High students are waiting by a bus. Peter runs towards them. "Hey it's Peter." "Peter?" Liz asks. "Yeah, I was hoping I could rejoin the team." Peter says and Flash faces him.)

Rhodey groans. "What stupid thing does this bully have to say now."

("No way. You can't just quit, stroll up, and be welcomed back by everyone." Mr. Harrington walks out of the bus. "Hey, welcome back, Peter. Flash, you're back to first alternate.")

    Everyone laughs. Long and loudly.

("What?" "He's taking your place." Says classmate Abe. "Excuse me, can we go already?" Says Michelle, "Cause I was hoping to get in some light protesting in front of one of the embassies before dinner, so.")

"I like this girl." Says Carol with the rest of the women nodding in agreement.

("Protesting is patriotic. Let's get in the bus." Says Mr. Harrington. Now on the bus and on their way to D.C. the students are studying for the competition.)

"Well this is going to be boring." Says Clint. Natasha hits him on the back of the head. "Ow." He says then smiles, 'I missed this.' It was bittersweet, he knew this wouldn't last.

("Focus up, everyone." Says Liz, "Our next topic is the moons of Saturn." The students are holding bells, focusing on Liz's quiz and continue answering questions. "The second law of thermodynamics." "Frank Sinatra." "Fort Sumter." "Flash is wrong.")

"I think I really like that sentence." Tony says.

("Okay, guys, let's focus." Liz says, "Next one." "Uh, strontium, barium, vibranium." Peter answers.)

Tony and Bruce cheered causing Peter to blush.

("Very good, Peter. Glad to have you back." "Glad to be back." Peter's phone vibrates. He sees that it's Happy calling him.)
