My mom was dropping me off at the bachelorette party for my cousin Karly. My car had broke down and no one else was able or willing to drop me off. The requirments for the party was to pack something sexy and to bring a side dish. I bought Karly some lingerae and I brought my tallest cowgirl boots, my cowgirl hat, and my cutest dress that was short but acceptable to wear.
My phone buzzed and my best friend (and cousin) Grace texted me and said, "Are you almost here yet or what? I hardly know anyone here!" I sighed and replied, "I am outside hun." It was like she was running away from something because as soon as got out the car she was quickly by my side. I hugged her and laughed.
"This is why you are my best friend." I looked at her with a smile
"I know!" she said happily
We walked into the house and I understood how she felt. These were all of Karly's friends. The only people I knew here was Grace and our family. All of the family here were Graces mom and our grandma. She looked at me with wide eyes. "Do you see what I mean?" I smiled and shook my headand left to greet my cousin.
"Hey Karly girl!" I said excitedly
"I Marley! I am so glad you are here! Let me take your dish and you put your outfit over there."
I came back and everyone was eating already. I got a small plate of food and sat next to Grace. We toasted to Karly and hung out with everyone for the rest of the time.
