3rd person

Tom has studied architecture for a long time. Recently his boss called him to the office for a new job. He was told that a man called Mr. Larkin is willing to let Tom study his old mansion. Tom would have to travel to Norway to complete the job, though. After some careful consideration, he has finally agreed to go study the mansion. In 3 days, he would leave from England to Norway.

Time skip and toms pov

I walked through the airport nervously, trying to find my gate. I see my gate at the very end of the hall and walk over. The gate wasn't open for another 20 minutes, so I sat down and waited for my flight. I'm not gonna lie, kinda scared. This is my first time leaving the country, and im going to Norway. Soon, a loud speaker calls out, "All passengers boarding flight 23 my board the plane." With these words, I stand up, grab my two bags, and walk through the gate. As I make it onto the plane, I fight my seat, which is a isle seat, and my bags up. I sit around 10 minutes later, and a flight attendant starts talking. I don't really listen and just focus on the book in my lap. As the plane takes off, I look out the window since now one else is in this row with me. I see white puffy clouds down below around with the small blurs of distant buildings. "Hmm," I hum as I turn my attention back to my book. Soon, I put the book down and take a little nap as I wait for the 2 hour flight to end. My eyes slowly shut, and the world faded off around me. After I don't know how long, nap, I am awakened by a large bump. It seems we're landing. As the plane glides down the runway, I watch as more workers gather around the plane to get everything off. When someone starts talking, I whip my head around to see a flight attendant doing the usual goodbye. Have a nice trip, talk. I stand up and reach into the upper compartment, and grab my bags. As everyone leaves the plane, I look around and take everything in. The airport looks normal, but through the window, I can see the beautiful landscapes. Outside a 'thin' layer of snow sat peacefully on the ground involving the world in a soft, glistening light. I continue to walk through the airport and to the final exit where I get a cab to take me to the house. As I stepped into the car, the man asked me where I needed to go. For a minute, I just started at him. He had thick brown eyebrows and scruffy brown hair. The man also wore a large red turtle neck with baggy brown pants.
I snap out of my thoughts and tell him the address I need to go to. "Uhmm, are you sure?" He asked. I look at him and give a confused look to him. "You probably don't know this, but that house is cursed. They say the owner is a vampire, and the people who go their never leave, " the strange looking man says. I gulp before talking again. "I think I'll be fine. I know how to fight in case, " as I say these words, I can't tell if he is looking at me questioning my choice or judging what I said. The man turns his head back to the road and drives along the road to what I presume is the house. As we are getting closer to the house, I'll be staying at I can tell this is an older part of town. Based on the designs and details in the architecture, these how's had to be at least 100 years old. Admiring the work done on these houses
I lose track of time while we travel. Until I see it. A huge mansion sitting on the top of a large hill towering over the rest of the town houses. The driver pulls off the driveway leading to the house and stops the car. I pull out my money and pay him without saying a word. I grab my luggage and walk up to the front door. Knock on the door and wait for an answer. As I wait, I run my fingers over the door, catching the detailed carvings under my fingers. As I hear footsteps, I pull my hand off the door and see a large man standing in the doorway. The man had brownish red hair and swoops up into large horns like mounds. He looks down at me, noticing the large high difference and smirks a little. The large man or who I think is Mr. Larkin moves to the side, letting me into the doorway. I step into the house and look around the inside is HUGE. The first room you enter expands into what looks like a large living area l. There are 2 black couches. A large brown coffee table is set in the middle of the 2. There is a stone fireplace of the wall witha. mantel is above it with a few little random objects on it. "I'll show you to your room if you like," a deep voice behind me says. I shiver, feeling him really close behind me his chest almost touches my back. I turn around and nod my head. The man started to walk away. I had to jog to keep up with him, and I think he sees this. The man slows down to a slower pave and lets me catch up to him. " Thanks, Mr. Larkin, " I say after catching up."Call me tord, please. " He says," Alright, tord, " I reply, and he just turns away from me to keep walking. I swear I saw him blush, but I could just be seeing things. We reach another door, and he opens it up. I see a large bedroom with a nice soft bed. The room had multiple book shelves lineing the walls with a wood desk tucked I. The corner. On the desk it a cup of pencils and pens and a small lamp to light up the desk for any writing. As I look around the room in awe, Tords hand grabs my shoulder. " You can look around the mansion all you want just when it gets dark. Please go back to your room." I nod my head, and he closes the door while I settle into my room for the time being. After I put
everything I need away, I open my door and start to travel around the empty halls with a notebook in hand. I write down what I notice about the old cultural designs and details in the wood. I look out the window and see the sun starting to set. The leaves very little time to search. I start to run down the hall and down the stairs to explore what I can on my first night. Around an hour later , I ploped down on one of the soft couches. I'm writing down what all I can see in this room alone. Soon, I see Tord walking my way. Somethings off. There's a look in his eyes. I can't tell what it is. It's almost like bloodlust. He walks over and sits on the couch, grabbing my shoulders and laying me down on his lap. He looks down at me, more specifically my neck. I try to sit back up, but the strong hands on my shoulder keep me down. "T-tord," I shudder out. He moves his gaze from my neck up to my eyes. "Are you alright. Do you need something?" I ask him. "I know we just met and all, but... could you let me feed? " He asks. I look at him with confusion, clearly shown in my eyes. He brings one hand up to his face and moves his mouth to reveal a long, sharp fang. Oh my gosh. The driver dude was right he is a vampire. I look away from his fangs and stare around the room. I would only be one, right? He could take a little blood, then I can research his house. I look at him again and silently mumble. "You can feed just a little, but I get to keep exploring the house after." After he contemplated a bit, he sits me up on his lap. His hands travel to the neck of my shirt and pull it to the side so he has a full view of my neck. I let out a small whimper as his warm breath runs down my neck. He brings his lips to the side of my neck and bits down. In the action, I let out an embarrassing yelp. I can feel his smirk on my neck as he sucks the blood out through his fangs. He keeps sucking on my neck for a solid minute, I think he's had enough by now. "Tord that e-enough," I called. He doesn't seem to be listening to me, though. He just keeps drinking my blood as I start to feel dizzy from all the blood he's taken. I start to fall limp in his arms, and he sees this as he pulls his fangs out of my neck. Where his fangs were now lays a soft red mark with two little dots in the middle of it. "You can explore the mansion tomorrow. I probably took more blood than I needed from you. " I let out a soft groan and lay my head in between the crook of Tords neck. He let's his hands travel up my back and up to give my shoulders a light message. I let out a small sigh of content, trying to fall asleep in the other man's arms. Tords body was nice and cool to the touch, allowing a calm feeling to enter me. As the feeling drags me down into sleep, I hear Tord say something, trying to focus back in his words. I only pick up a few before he stops something along the lines of "Tom...thanks...done...cutie...night" I may have just met this man today but I have a feeling that we're going to get along quiet well. I shove my face farther into his neck, drifting to sleep in his calm presence.

Sorry it's taken me so long to get out another chapter. I've been busy with school and sports. Thx for understanding and reading my book.
