When I woke up in the morning, I was lying in a soft bed. When I opened my eyes, I noticed the person lying next to me: Yoko. My eyes widened in surprise and my heart began to beat rapidly. I tried to sit up quickly, but my head was still spinning.
"What's going on here?" I shouted, my voice a little hoarse.
Yoko opened her eyes and looked at me. Her face had the same cold expression as always. "You collapsed last night, so I brought you here."
"Did you bring me here?" I asked angrily. "What are we doing here? What happened last night?"
Yoko slowly sat up and gave me a stern look. "I helped you, that's all. I don't know what you're thinking, but I had to take care of you."
My head was still spinning, but I tried to process what she was saying. "Why? Why did you take me here? You could have taken me home."
Yoko shrugged. "I didn't want you to get hurt. It's that simple."
Her attitude made me even angrier. "Is it that simple? You and I are enemies. What does this mean?"
Yoko narrowed her eyes at me. "I helped you, Faye. This has nothing to do with our enmity. I just did what was right at the time."At that moment, all the anger and hatred I felt towards Yoko rose to the surface again. I was infuriated by how cold-blooded and arrogant she was. "You know that doesn't change anything between us, right?" I said, my voice trembling.
Yoko nodded, a slightly mocking smile on her face. "Of course it doesn't. But maybe a one-night truce wouldn't be a bad thing, don't you think?"
Her words made me even angrier. I got out of bed quickly and headed for the door. "Let's forget about last night. Nothing like this will ever happen again, do you understand?" I said, slamming the door and leaving the room.
My head was still spinning, but I left her house at a fast pace, wanting to leave Yoko's presence and this strange night behind. The hostility between us was still alive and tonight was just a short break. My anger and hatred towards Yoko would not change with her kindness. This only showed that the struggle with her had become even more complicated. I still couldn't understand how I could have done such a stupid thing, in fact when I looked back at her personality maybe she had put something in my drink because it was impossible for my body to be so sensitive. As I got into the first taxi I found from the loft apartment I left at the first light of the morning and went, it suddenly occurred to me why we were in a loft apartment, because Yoko normally lived with her family and in that case I would have to wake up in a huge mansion, but apparently, maybe Yoko is more than I thought and she has the courage to hide something from her family no matter what, but why did she suddenly want to work with me, so what was the reason for this?Without letting all these questions bother me, I threw myself on my big white bed at home and started checking my phone.
The message from Lux made me sit up in bed all of a sudden because she had sent me a message telling me that she had finally found out why my father had brought Yoko all the way here and why Yoko had accepted his offer. I took a quick shower and left the house immediately and went to our secret hideout called the Garden where no one could disturb us, that is, the press and cameras, to meet Lux. Lux had gone overboard as usual and was dressed completely in black and also had a mask on her face. Even though I had told her a thousand times that this would attract more attention, she kept saying that it was fun because it would raise questions in people's minds.
"Faye, you won't believe this," Lux said excitedly as she sat down at the table. "Lux, after yesterday, I wouldn't be surprised if all the snowflakes fell from above at once," I replied. "Then get ready, the real reason Yoko wants to work with you is actually because of the situation you are in right now, so if you accept this, logically you will not marry anyone else but her." After hearing these, I suddenly felt a headache because I raised my eyebrows so high that my forehead started to hurt. Despite this, I just said, "Don't be ridiculous Lux," with great composure, but Lux's expression didn't seem like she was joking at all and her face was as cold as ice, "Faye, I'm serious." After saying this, I was about to open my mouth to answer her when I suddenly said, "Yoko came there that day because her family wanted what your father wanted for her, and also considering that your fathers are very old friends and they know that you two are rivals for some unknown reason, this is actually a chess game your fathers are playing on you, if you follow your steps properly, you can win, but no, if you keep fighting, there will be no winners in this game, except for your fathers of course." After Lux talked for 5 minutes straight, I put my head in my hands and asked, "What's your plan?" because I no longer had the strength to play chess or the logical side to think. "The solution is very simple, you will both get married as your fathers want.", I laughed out loud at Lux's great solution, "I was speechless in front of your genius idea.." Lux who heard this suddenly started to get closer to me and this made me nervous, just as I was about to pull back, Lux suddenly took my face in her hands and said "I didn't tell you who you were going to marry, your fathers didn't tell you that you had to get married but who and if you read the newspaper page where last week's parliamentary decision was published, gay marriage is now recognized by the state in our country and if your fathers want an official marriage, you can only give them what they want without letting them win" I paused and said "How do I mean, where am I going to find a man to have an arranged marriage Lux, let alone marrying a man, even standing next to him is agony for me", "Who said there was a man, you will marry each other".
