Yoko's father's words exploded in my mind like a bombshell. "I know what happened." This sentence was a clear sign that Yoko was in danger. My heart was beating so hard that it almost jumped out of my chest. Fear and anger were fighting each other inside me.

The thought that something might have happened to Yoko was driving me crazy. I tried to call her right away, but her phone was off. I sank into the living room, helpless and at a loss for what to do.

But I couldn't stay like that for long. I had to find Yoko. I jumped to my feet and ran out of the house. I jumped in the car and accelerated. I didn't know where I was going, but something inside me was leading me to Yoko's father's house.

I called Lux the whole way. My hands were shaking as the phone rang.

"Lux," I said breathlessly. "Yoko's father has kidnapped her. Get the men ready, we're going to her house right away."

Lux was silent for a moment, then said, "Understood, Faye," her voice more serious and determined than ever. "I'll gather the men and set off immediately. You be careful too."

I hung up the phone and increased my speed. Yoko's father's house was a huge mansion in one of the most luxurious districts of the city. Surrounded by high walls and security cameras, this house resembled a castle.

I parked the car in front of the door and took a deep breath. My heart was beating like it was going to jump out of its chest, but I couldn't turn back. Yoko was inside and I had to save her.

Lux and his men arrived shortly after. Together, we forced the door open and entered. The house was cold and gloomy. The marble floors, expensive furniture, and antique paintings reflected the wealth and power of the owner. But at the same time, I could sense the darkness hiding behind this splendor.

We found Yoko's father in the large living room. Kun and... Alex were sitting across from him. Alex was a handsome and wealthy man, but there was a void in his eyes. It was as if he were just a puppet, following my father's orders.

When he saw us, Yoko's father's face broke into a wry smile. "Faye," he said, his voice cold and cruel. "Welcome. Have you come to see my daughter?" I couldn't see Yoko. She was probably in another room. But I knew she was here. My heart began to beat even faster for her.

"Where's Yoko?" I asked through clenched teeth.

Mr. Apasra laughed. "Don't worry, I'm taking good care of her. But there are things we need to talk to you about."

Lux and his men surrounded us. The tension seemed to cut the air in the room.

"What do you want?" I asked my father with a challenging look.

"I want the shares back," his father said, his eyes narrowing. "And for Yoko to end this ridiculous marriage."

"Never!" I shouted. "The shares are mine now, and Yoko is my wife. I will never leave her."

Mr. Apasra's face turned red with anger. "Really? Then you will suffer the consequences."

He stood up and approached us. Lux and his men also moved, but Mr. Apasra stopped them.

"Calm down, boys," he said mockingly. "I just want to talk to Faye."

Lux and his men hesitated, but finally they backed away. Yoko's father approached me and leaned toward my face. His breath smelled of alcohol.

"Faye," he said, his voice a menacing whisper. "If you're smart, you'll give back the shares and get away from Yoko. Or you'll both pay the price."

I didn't take my eyes off hers. I wasn't afraid. Not anymore. "Never," I said, the determination in my voice stronger than ever. "I'll never leave Yoko. And you won't be able to stop us."
