Yoko's father, Mr. Apasra, and Alex stood in front of the door. Mr. Apasra's face was red with anger, and his eyes were a mixture of disappointment and anger. His lips were drawn into a thin line, as if he were about to speak, as if he were warning that harsh words would come out. Alex, as usual, was cold and distant, but there was a faint hint of concern in his eyes.

For a moment I didn't know what to say. I felt Yoko's grip on my hand tighten, as if to support me. Mr. Apasra's stern gaze was on us, as if he wanted to bore into us. The temperature in the house dropped suddenly, giving way to an icy air.

"Yoko," Mr. Apasra said, his voice icy. "This is unacceptable! Come inside right now and explain this nonsense."

Yoko pulled me behind her, protectively. "Dad," he said, his voice calm but firm. "Faye and I married. It was our choice, and we will not go back on it."

Mr. Apasra's anger grew even stronger. The veins on his face were prominent, his hands were clenched into fists. "I will never accept what you did, Yoko!" he shouted, his voice echoing throughout the neighborhood. "You have brought shame on your family! You will annul this marriage immediately!" Yoko looked into her father's eyes, fearless. "This is my choice," she said, her voice full of unwavering strength. "And Faye and I are prepared to accept the consequences. I will not annul this marriage."

Alex watched silently. It was hard to tell what he was thinking from the expression on his face. But the concern in his eyes showed that he was impressed by Yoko's determination. Perhaps this was the first time he had seen this power in Yoko. Mr. Apasra was taken aback by Yoko's determination. For a moment, he didn't know what to say, then his anger flared up again. "You... What do you think you're doing?" he growled, his voice trembling. "If you go through with this marriage, I'll disinherit you! You won't get a penny!" Yoko stood tall, ignoring her father's threat. "We got married because you wanted us to," she said, her voice calm but determined. "You told us to get married, you didn't specify who we were going to marry."

Mr. Apasra became even more furious at Yoko's words. "You're an ungrateful brat!" he shouted. "You're disregarding your family and your company! You'll pay a heavy price for what you've done!"

At that moment, Faye intervened. "Mr. Apasra," she said, her voice calm but firm. "You can't disinherit Yoko." Mr. Apasra looked at Faye in surprise. "What do you mean?" he asked, frowning. "This is my family, my company. I can do whatever I want with my own daughter!"Faye approached Mr. Apasra with a slight smile. "Do you know who bought one of the 20% shares in the sudden and large share transfer last night?" she asked, a mischievous gleam in her eyes.

Mr. Apasra's face had completely lost its color. His eyes were wide, his mouth open in surprise. He could not believe that his own daughter had made such a move to defeat him. Yoko, on the other hand, held my hand tighter. The determination in her eyes showed that there was no room for fear anymore. Even in the face of her father's threat, she stood tall and stood by her own choices. I was the one who broke the silence. I turned to Yoko, her eyes filled with a gleam of love and pride. I slowly raised Yoko's hand and touched her ring. "Yoko," I said, my voice soft but strong at the same time. "Last night, we not only exchanged wedding vows. We also promised to support each other and make each other's dreams come true."

Mr. Apasra's face turned pale. He stuttered for a moment, then asked, "What... What do you mean?" His voice was trembling.

I held Yoko's hand tighter and said, "Yoko now owns 20% of the company," my voice filled with pride. "And that makes her one of the largest shareholders in the company. You can't disinherit her, because she's part of the company now. It was my wedding present to her."
