As soon as I woke up in the early morning light, my heart started beating like it was going to jump out of its chest. Today was the day I had been dreaming of for so long, my wedding day. This special day, where Yoko and I would embark on a journey that would last a lifetime, was also a milestone in which the merger between our companies would become official.

I looked at myself in the mirror. I felt like a princess in my snow-white wedding dress. My hair was meticulously done, my make-up flawless. But the real beauty was inside me. The love I felt for Yoko was reflected in the smile on my face.

There was a knock on the door and Mon came in, smiling widely. "Faye, are you ready? Everyone is waiting for you," she said excitedly.

"I'm ready, Mon," I said, taking a deep breath. Just then, Ize came rushing into the room, looking worried and interrupting me. "But I can't see Yoko. She won't come out of her room."

"Does Yoko really not want it?" I asked, my heart clenching. "Today is our wedding, Ize! We have to convince her."

Mon spoke with a determined expression. "Don't worry, Faye. We'll convince her. Come on, let's all go to Yoko and talk to her."

The three of us walked towards Yoko's room. I was in a panic. I was worried that Yoko would back down on such a big day. I needed to understand what she was feeling and support her.

We went to Yoko's room. We knocked on the door, but there was no answer. When we entered, we found Yoko sitting on her bed. Her eyes were filled with tears.

"Yoko, what happened?" I asked, approaching her with concern.

Yoko looked up at me. "Faye, I... I'm not ready," she said, her voice trembling. "Being in front of so many people... I'm scared."

Mon sat down next to Yoko and held her hand. "Yoko, everyone is waiting for you. This is your day. You don't have to be afraid, we're here for you."

My heart clenched when I saw the fear in Yoko's eyes. It hurt me deeply to see her like this. I turned to Mon and Ize and said, "Can I talk to Yoko alone for a moment?" with a slight pleading tone in my voice.

Mon and Ize nodded in understanding and left the room, slowly closing the door behind them, giving us some privacy. I sat down next to Yoko and held her hand. It worried me to see her so fragile.

"Yoko, honey, what's going on? Why are you so worried?" I asked, trying to keep my tone as soft and calm as possible.

Yoko bowed her head, tears starting to flow from her eyes. "Faye, I... I can't stand being in front of so many people. I don't feel ready. What if I make a mistake? What if everything falls apart?"

It hurt me to see her so insecure. I slowly raised her head and looked into her eyes. "Yoko, honey, nothing will fall apart. You're with me, I'm with you. This is our day, and we'll get through it together. Don't be afraid, I'll always be with you." I hugged Yoko tightly and kissed her forehead. "Love you, Yoko. And today, I can't wait to marry you."

Yoko hugged me back and I saw the sparkle in her eyes. She was as excited as I was and that made me happy. We left the room together, Mon and Ize were waiting for us. I smiled at them and said, "We're ready."

The celebration area was decorated in a dazzling way. The delicate flower arrangements on the tables danced with the lights reflected from the crystal chandeliers, creating a magical atmosphere. The orchestra played a romantic melody and the guests flocked to the dance floor. Yoko and I had our first dance together. At that moment, it was as if the world had stopped and it was just us. The sparkle in Yoko's eyes warmed my heart.

When the wedding ceremony started, my heart felt like it was going to explode. I held Yoko's hand and looked into her eyes. At that moment, it was just the two of us. The promises we made to each other resonated deeply in my heart. This was not just a wedding, it was also a promise we made to each other. A promise that together, we would be stronger, that we would overcome all difficulties.
