Bluff

When we quickly got into the car after everything was over, there was a tense silence in the car. The unexpected arrival of Yoko's mother and the events that followed had shaken us all. Lux was at the wheel, I was in the passenger seat, and Yoko was in the back. As the lights of the city filtered through the windows, for a moment I felt like I was in a movie scene. But this wasn't a movie, this was our real life, and we were in the middle of a war.

After a while, Lux suddenly pulled over and slammed on the brakes. We all jumped. Lux looked at Yoko in the rearview mirror and asked, "Yoko, are you really pregnant?" Her voice was serious but also curious.

Yoko was taken aback for a moment, then smiled. "Yes, Lux, I am really pregnant," she said, proudly touching her belly. "As Faye said, we had an embryo transfer. The omelet I had this morning, this is our child."

Lux frowned for a moment, as if trying to remember something. Then, a mischievous smile appeared on her face and she laughed heartily.

"Wait a minute," she said, trying to catch her breath. "So you... you're not actually pregnant, are you? Was this just a bluff to fool your father?"

Yoko and I looked at each other and laughed.

"Yes, Lux," I said, unable to hide my smile. "Yoko's not pregnant. This was a tactic we used to stop my father."

"Wow!" Lux said, trying to control her laughter. "You two are really incredible! You should have seen the look on your father's face. It was like his world had fallen apart." Then she turned to us, looking serious. "But all kidding aside, Faye," she said, winking at me. "Maybe it's time to turn this bluff of yours into a reality. And who knows, maybe your father will finally accept you."

Lux's words sparked a spark inside me. Yes, maybe she was right. Perhaps this could be a way to turn our bluff into reality, to soften my father's heart. But more importantly, the idea of starting a family with Yoko gave me an indescribable thrill.

Without hesitation, I got out of the car and climbed into the back seat, sitting next to Yoko. Under her surprised gaze, I leaned closer to her face and whispered, "Maybe you want us to do it right here, right now?" without trying to hide the desire in my voice.

Yoko's eyes widened, then a slow smile appeared on her face. "Faye..." she whispered, her voice trembling but eager.

Without waiting any longer, I pressed my lips to hers. Our kisses were passionate and hot. It was as if we had forgotten the rest of the world and were focused only on each other's existence. Yoko's arms wrapped around my neck, pulling me even closer to her. The tightness of the car made our closeness even more intense.

Lux's coughing began to grow louder in the front seat. "Ahem, ahem!" she coughed loudly. "Excuse me, but I think I'm a little... queasy. Maybe we should keep going?"

Yoko and I pulled away and laughed at Lux.

"Okay, okay," I said, still smiling. "Let's keep going."

Lux started the car and we set off towards the summer house. The air inside the car was lighter, more hopeful now. Yoko's hand was in mine, her warmth and love enveloping my entire body.

When we arrived in front of the summer house, we were surprised by the lights and music coming from outside. The car's headlights danced with the colored lights reflecting off the house's windows, and it felt like we'd arrived at a nightclub. The music was playing loudly, shaking the house. For a moment, I wondered if we'd come to the wrong place.

Yoko looked at me in surprise. "What's going on here?" she whispered.

"I don't know," I said, shrugging. "But I think Mon and Ize had some fun while we were gone."
