The company's huge glass building was like a jewel shining in the night. From a distance, it looked like a pillar of light reaching into the sky, a cold facade hiding the intrigues and betrayals going on inside. As my car pulled up to the curb, I felt a chill run through me. Tonight, I wasn't just going to a business meeting. This was going to open a new front in the war between my father and me.

As the driver opened my door, I took a deep breath and stepped outside. The cold night air hit my face, calming my mind a little. I looked around. The city had surrendered to the night. Streetlights illuminated the empty sidewalks, and the headlights of an occasional taxi would pierce the darkness for a moment.

As I walked toward the company entrance, the sound of my high heels on the marble floor disturbed the silence of the night. The tension inside me grew with each step. I didn't know what game my father was playing, but I had to be prepared.

The security guard greeted me as I entered the lobby. "Good evening, Miss Faye," he said, bowing his head respectfully.
"Good evening," I replied, giving him a small smile.

I took the elevator and went upstairs. The boardroom was on the top floor of the company. As I walked down the hallway, the tension inside me grew. I stopped in front of the door and took a deep breath. This wasn't just a meeting. This was about my future, my grandfather's legacy, and the turning point in my battle with my father. And I was determined to win this battle.

I slowly opened the door and peered inside. My father was standing at the podium, explaining something to the shareholders. The others were listening intently. The anger inside me flared up again. Hearing my father's lies and seeing his true face made me feel even stronger.

I slowly closed the door and leaned back. For now, I would just listen. My father's voice dominated the room from behind the door. "Faye is still very young and inexperienced. The future of the company is uncertain under her management. Moreover, she has no intention of getting married and starting a family. This shows that she is not fully focused on the company and will not be able to fulfill her responsibilities."
The anger inside me started to bubble like lava. I couldn't believe that my father could behave so despicably. He was disregarding my grandfather's trust in me, and was evaluating me only based on my gender and marital status.

At that moment, Kun's voice was heard. "My father is right," he said, his voice filled with a disgustingly fake concern. "Faye doesn't have enough experience in running the company. Moreover, it is difficult for her to carry such a big responsibility as a woman. The best decision for the future of the company is to hand over the management to my father."

Kun... Even my own brother had betrayed me. He had supported my father's words and joined in his plans. I couldn't stop the tears from flowing. But these tears were not from weakness, but from anger. I wasn't going to let them get away with this evil.

Throughout the meeting, I listened to the plans my father and brother had made to take over the company, the distorted data, and the false allegations. The anger and determination inside me were growing by the minute. I wouldn't stay silent anymore. I would show everyone the true face of my father and brother.
When the meeting ended, I returned to my office, filled with anger and disappointment. I quickly closed the door behind me and threw myself on the couch. The weight of my father's and my brother's betrayal seemed to settle on my shoulders. While my tears flowed involuntarily, a volcano of anger was waiting inside me to erupt.

They were trying to steal the legacy my grandfather left me, his dreams, my future. But I would not let them. I took a deep breath and pulled myself together. Now was the time to act.

I immediately grabbed my phone and called the people I trusted the most. My financial affairs manager Mintra, my legal advisor Somsak, and our public relations officer Mali all answered my call immediately. I told them about my father's and my brother's plan. As each word came out of my mouth, the anger inside me grew.
