"𝐎𝐊𝐀𝐘 𝐖𝐄 𝐆𝐎𝐓 your results," lili's doctor, dr. monroe, sighed picking up the clipboard from the table in front of her.
"congratulations anuli, you're pregnant" she said, a soft smile gracing her face as she looked up.
lili silently nodded her head, kicking her feet. her face didn't change from the same blank expression she already had.
leahna sat forward looking at her face while tylan squinted and stared at her.
"you not gon say nothin? we sittin here too yknow," leahna cleared her throat trying to get a reaction out of lili.
lili sighed heavily and looked over at her parents, "ma, i am aware of my actions. no shade no tea,"
"clock it," tylan snickered pinching his two fingers together, "she grown, and she been tryna move out"
"that's not why tho, but i guess" lili shrugged scratching her head quietly.
"i just don't like how jay was coming for my turkey as if that's what made you sick," tylan sucked his teeth in annoyance.
lili and leahna rolled their eyes turning to dr. monroe who just laughed at the families antics.
"i mean... it was kinda dry this year," lili muttered under her breath, a small smirk tugging at her lips.
tylan's jaw dropped dramatically, clutching his chest as if she'd just insulted his entire existence. "oh, not my own flesh and blood disrespecting my turkey like that!"
"let's focus, tylan," leahna snapped, giving him a side-eye before turning back to lili. "are you sure you're okay, baby? this is a lot. you don't have to act all tough right now."
lili shrugged, her face still blank. "i knew already. kinda. i mean, it wasn't a shock."
"you knew?" leahna asked, her voice rising. "and you didn't think to—?"
