𝐀𝐍𝐔𝐋𝐈 𝐒𝐈𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐋𝐘 𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐑𝐄𝐃 at the floor, her mind in many different places but her body sat in this uncomfortable plastic chair.

the court room was silent for the most part, the only sound being the ticking on the clock and the voice of the judge.

she had completely left the conversation mentally, the only thing being on her mind is the new found sickness she obtained and the stress of moving out.

not that her parents were forcing her but lili had felt like she wanted more space personally, and with her being 18 already she was free to go.

the only people to know was her parents, she didn't tell jay because she knew he would handle everything for her and she didn't want that.

she had the money to do it herself so that's what she was going to do.

she had found this apartment that was perfect for her. the only problem is getting to the interview.

she had been so busy she didn't have the time to go and review the house.

then she's started feeling sick and that wasn't any better.

"anuli?" the judge called out causing her head to snap up and meet eyes with the judge.

"yes your honor?" lili cleared her throat sitting up in her seat.

"i asked how you felt during the four years you attended the school" judge valdez repeated, her voice soft with concern.

"oh," lili muttered trying to remember what she had practiced for so long, "i always thought that i needed to do too much to make friends. even with the teachers, i was always doing homework for other people"

"did the teachers have you doing things for them?" judge valdez asked, her eyebrows raising.

lili nodded her head, "all the time, everything i did at school was never for me. it was always for other people, and eventually became a job"
