Linda:

It was 10:15 that evening I grabbed my phone out of my locker and texted my son to see if he was still with Callie or not? He replied that he was so I told him to give me about 15-20 minutes.

I put my phone on silent mode and snuck it in my pocket and walked down to H-3 luckily everyone was in their cells when I opened that gate. I went to Stef's cell and opened the door and she looked at me and I nudged my head to signal for her to come with me so she followed me and I locked the gate back up.

"Where are you taken me?"

"Just trust me."

"Okay."

We walked down to the plant room and I used my swipe card to unlock the door. We step inside. I close the door behind us. It's a room where there are no security cameras at all so I know it will be safe in here to let her have that phone call. I called my son and he picked up and he put Callie on then I handed my phone to Stef.

"You got 5 minutes."

I stood guard while I let her talk to her daughter. I wasn't trying to listen but hearing her I felt sorry for her. She just wanted her daughter to be safe. I know where she's coming from with me being a mother myself.

The 5 minutes are up.

"Times up Foster."

She hung up the phone, gave it back to me and I put it back in my pocket.

"Thanks Ms. Miles."

"This is a one off."

"I understand. Can I ask why you did it?"

"My son told me what happened and I reckon what he told me."

"Thanks again."

"Let's get you back to your unit before anyone notices."

"Okay."

I take Stef back to her unit and lock the gate back up and head to the staff room and put my phone back in my locker before anyone notices and grab me a quick cupper before I walk the corridors.
