Linda:

It's been almost 2 weeks since Meg's funeral. The women were going crazy because they were still locked down. I checked on Will a few times since the funeral.

It was Wednesday morning and we were in the Governor's office for the morning meeting for the agenda for the day.

"Everyone has been interviewed and every cell has been tossed. We haven't found anything so after count I'm gonna lift the lockdown."

"The women have been stir crazy."

"There are still no visitors. They can use phones though after breakfast and get yard time before work unit."

"Yes, Governor."

"That will be all."

We start to leave the office.

"Ms. Miles, can you hold up a minute?"

"Sure."

"Stef Foster. Can you put her on Laundry for work detail?"

"Of course, Governor."

"I know you check on Will. How is he?"

"Still grieving."

"Understandable."

"I'm planning on checking on him after shift."

"Let him know we've been thinking about him."

"Will do."

"That will be all."

I left the office as the announcement was made that the count was in 5 minutes. I head down to H-3 for the count and Call off everyone's name.

"Lockdown has been lifted."

"About Bloody Time."

"Foster you have been assigned to Laundry detail."

"Okay."

"There is still no visitation but you can use the phones after breakfast."

"Thanks for telling me."

I walked away and headed to the dining room since Vera wanted me to watch everyone in the dining room to make sure no fights break out.

The woman was glad that the lockdown has been lifted and after my shift I will be heading to Will's to check on him since it's been a couple days since I saw him last.
