Chapter 28

Callie:

It was 3:45 am when Linda came into the bedroom that me and mom were in.

"Listen we need to get up since I'm giving you a ride home Callie before I have to go into work and take your mum back."

"Okay."

She left the room and me and mom got up and got ready.

"This sucks you gotta go back in."

"I know, baby."

"I wish you could stay out."

"I know. I do too but I just can't."

"Does Linda look out for you while you are there?"

"She keeps an eye on me and she let me know things. Some of the other women don't like it that me and her talk privately sometimes but that's how it is."

"I just want you to be safe."

"I know, baby. I want you to be safe too and I want you to be happy."

A little while later we walked into the kitchen and Linda was getting her coffee. She didn't see us walk in and we saw her carelessly stroking Vera's cheek as they were talking quietly. It looked like there was maybe some tension there.

"Hey, we're here."

"Okay. Um Callie I get off at 7 so how about you come by later and you can take some of the leftovers home with you?"

"Um sure."

After we were ready Linda drove me home and she allowed my mom to walk with me to the door and she gave me a tight hug then my mom went back to the car and I went inside and decided to go back to sleep for a few hours.

Later that afternoon I was hanging with Ryan at his dad's place. We were in his room listening to music and just laying on his bed. He was tracing designs on my stomach and I would smile at him.

"You like that?"

"It tickles."

"You know I would never do anything you don't wanna do."

"I know."

"I really like you."

"I like you too."

"We've hung out a long time."

"Well you're my boyfriend."

"Right. You wanna make out?"

"I'd like that."

He got on top of me and we started kissing each other and we were getting heated in the moment. We stared into each other's eyes and we were kissing each other hard. I Tugged at his shirt and he took it off.

We were really into it before long. We were both undressing and really kissing. We ended up having sex. It was my first time so it hurt a bit and there was a bit of blood. But he was gentle as he could be.

2 hours later his dad came home and found us cuddled up together naked and his dad started yelling at him so I hurried up and got dressed and went back home and showered and then took a nap.

That evening around 8 I went over to Linda's place.

"Hi."

"There is plenty so you can take as much as you want."

"Thank You. I'd like to thank you for letting my mom stay with you so she could see me graduate."

"It was no trouble."

"Well thank you."

"Is everything alright?"

"Yeah. Me and my mom are pretty close. It just sucks I can't always talk to her. Even if I visited her it's hard to talk to her about personal things because there are a lot of people that can hear and know all about your business."

"I understand. Believe me. I know I am not your mum but if you ever need someone to talk to I am here."

"Thanks. I appreciate that. Are you and Ryan close?"

"Yeah we're pretty close but he still keeps things from me sometimes. But if he was ever in trouble he would come to me instead of his dad."

"I understand."

While we were talking Vera came into the kitchen. So I decided to just go back home for the evening.
