A/N: I have been going through some writers' block and haven't written anything worth posting. So I decided to let one of my co-authors write something, so I didn't miss an update. Hopefully I'll have something good next week, but for now enjoy this oneshot by Ellie. (Also, this story has nothing to do with my story 12 YITF) - Naomi

Drew's POV

"Ev!"

"Yeah Drew?" Ev replied typing away at his phone...like always.

"Ready for football tonight?" I paused for effect, "The final practice before the big game!"

"Mhm" he responded, nodding, still typing away.

"Whatcha typing?" I asked, trying to keep the conversation going.

"Just a stupid assignment," he replied, putting his phone down.

"Which class?"

"Third."

"What do you have to do in history?"

He sputtered out, "Just a stupid slideshow."

"Okay..." I looked around slightly awkwardly.

"Sorry, I had to finish it...", he paused, "Come here"

I walk up to him, sitting next to him. He wraps his arms around me, his hand settling on my waist. It would all be fine except...I had a nagging feeling...something was wrong. But what? I thought for a moment. His assignment. I remembered. I excused myself to the bathroom and texted Zero.

|Ur in Ev's history class right?|

|Yeah| he replied almost immediately.

|What did y'all do today?|

|Watched the movie, 12 men or smth like that|

He quickly followed that up with, |12 angry men, I think it's called|

Rage boiled within me. Why the hell did he lie! I stormed out of the bathroom, not caring Zero was blowing up my phone with whys.

"Ev," I said, trying to stay calm, "Why did you lie?"

He looked around nervously, "What do you mean?"

"You said you were working on history yet all you did in class was watch a movie!"

I could see him start to panic slightly, shifting the blame to me, "Do you not trust me enough instead of running to someone else?! You don't trust me?"

"I did...Not any more." I paused, trying to real back my anger. "So what were you doing?!"

"Texting..." he looked away. I knew it was time to explode.

"Who?!?"

"Jenny.." He replied honestly.

"Your ex?!"

He nodded, "Well uh...I better go..."

"Oh hell nah, give me your f*cking phone!"

"Drew-"

"Give it!"

He reluctantly handed it over. I opened it, as we always told each other our phone passwords. I went straight to his texts noticing the last person he texted was Jenny. However, her contact name was 'J ♥️'.

"A heart?!" I screamed, clicking to read his texts.

"Don't-" he warned. I didn't listen.

I read them, reread them over and over..hoping...praying they would change. The flirting...the 'babes', the hearts...they didn't. Tears swelled in my eyes.

"Ev! You *sshole!" I yelled, "You're f*cking cheating on me with your ex!?!?"

He didn't respond as I kept screaming at him.

"I know these middle school relationships aren't going to last but I thought at least until high school!"

"I know...I know" he muttered, looking away. I hoped the feeling glossing over his face was shame.

"We're done...get out!"

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to babe..."

"Don't you 'babe' me...We're done! We. Are. Done."

I could see the tears in his eyes, "Drew please. It was a mistake."

"Oh yeah cause sending hearts and calling her babe is a 'mistake'"

"I was just playing along so she'd stop texting me..."

"Get out of my room, and the house."

"But-"

"Go before I punch your *ss!"

"I'm not leaving until I'm able to explain."

I resisted the urge to slap him across the face, instead shoving him out of my bedroom door. I slammed it close, locking it.

"Leave. Now!" I yell through the door letting the tears finally stream down my face.

I heard the pitter patter of his steps slowly dissipate to the sounds of my choked sobs.

"F*ck him..." I muttered under my breath, "Go die in a hole..."

Quick Evs POV

F*ckkk...I f*cked up...I let Drew be as he needs some space right now...I'll talk to him either at football tonight or school tomorrow.

Little did I know, that was the last time he'd talk to me since and it's been...what? Weeks? Years? Or a month and a half since he found out that has felt like eternity.
