"Shut up," Qian Limin's scowl deepens even more, turning his head away from the prince's smile. "There's something wrong with your head, even when you were a child. You should get the Imperial Physician to see you."
"I'll go see him if you come with me."
"..."
"Whatever. I think being stupid suits you better."

The next following months seem to pass by in a blink of an eye. Spring turns into Summer, and Summer turns into Autumn. Green turns into the color of fall, red and gold, a carpet of auburn leaves beneath one's feet crunches and rustles as they hike along the trail.
The weather has gone cold but not too cold that Qian Limin opts not to wear an additional layer. In any case, he is still a cultivator but not as great as the pain in the ass prince following behind him.
"Min-er," Min turns a deaf ear on the smiling god a step behind. "You should start wearing another layer. Winter this year will–"
"Shut up," Min picks up the pace, not willing to be so close to the prince. "You're a god; what are you doing meddling in the mortal realm?"
"I'm only meddling you."
"That's not something to be proud of."
"Your Highness!"
In an instant, both Crown Princes of Lanyue and Wuyong pause to turn around and see who called for them.
...
Mei Nianqing halts amidst a sprint, causing him to fall flat on his face.
Did I... see it right? His Highness, the Crown Prince of Lanyue... is still alive? Mei Nianqing quickly gets back to his feet, eyes widening in an attempt to observe every little thing about the Crown Prince of Lanyue.
That familiar black hair longer than normal people's patience, the same shade of darkish red in his memories, and the face that can make anyone do anything—it really is him! Mei Nianqing gasps, the words leaving his lips before he can even think them over due to shock.
"The runaway bride!"
"..."
"..."
"I mean," Mei Nianqing clears his throat. "It is good to see you looking well, Prince Limin."
"..."

"..."
"Nian-ge, it's been a while."
...
The Wuyong Crown Prince smiles but it is stiff and insincere with a hint of helplessness. He does not know how Nianqing tracked him down but now that his deputy knows his whereabouts, he is bound to appear every day.
Which means less alone time with Min-er.
But what gets on his nerves even more is how Nianqing is hovering around Min-er like a worried mother making a fuss over her daughter. He cannot even join in because Nianqing keeps looking at him as if he were some pervert!
