SOLEIL WAS AT HER BREAKING POINT. Having an inconsistent routine was hard to keep up, with a mix of school, fighting monsters, calling her mom, studying princess stuff, sleeping, and if she was lucky enough to remember, eating as well.

She couldn't remember life being so hectic back on Mewni, granted that was probably because Star was living somewhere else. It had been over two years since the girls lived consistently under the same roof after all.

So when Marco suggested a day to stay at home, the princess immediately jumped at the chance. The blonde was lazily strewn over the couch, reading 'Ms. Paragrin's Home for Peculiar Children', an Earth novel gifted to her by Mrs. Diaz.

"Hey Soleil," Marco greeted, coming down the stairs closely followed by Star who was wearing a helmet in place of her usual horns. "I'm gonna teach Star how to ride a bike. You wanna come? I can teach you too."

"No that's alright," Soleil said, not looking away from her book. "You two have fun, I'll be in here where it's safe and quiet."

"Party pooper," Star sang, bounding out the front door.

Soleil rolled her eyes, not paying the duo any further attention. She was granted approximately five more minutes of relaxation before she heard screaming out front, followed by Marco basically kicking the door down and sprinting upstairs.

"Marco?" Soleil called out, worried about him and the lack of her sister.

"Can't talk, no time, Star went out of control and she's riding aimlessly through town! She doesn't know how to stop!" Marco shouted, running down the stairs and flying past Soleil with Star's backpack in hand.

"She doesn't know how to stop? Isn't that like, the first thing you should have taught her?" Soleil asked, rushing out behind the brunette.

"Gee, Soleil, I didn't even think of that," Marco huffed sarcastically.

"Well then what about the giant invisible goats? Shouldn't they know how to stop her at least?"

Marco stopped in his tracks and gave Soleil and unimpressed look. "Really Soleil? Giant invisible goats?"

At the sound of a keytar, Marco paused his scolding and turned to the tan car in his driveway. He gave a confused look, hurrying over to the window with Soleil hot on his trail.

"Oscar? What are you doing in my driveway?" he asked.

"What? I thought this was my studio... JK! Everywhere is my studio," the teen responded, laughing at his own joke.

"Whatever. We have to catch up to Star. Get in!" Marco yelled, opening the back door for the blonde to climb in and throwing her Star's backpack.

Unfortunately for the princess, Oscar's back seat was filled to the brim with... stuff. Soleil perched herself as safely as she could in the middle, praying for dear life that they didn't get into a wreck. But with Oscar's driving ability, she wasn't so sure that they wouldn't.

The trio sped through town, trying to catch up to Star. They dodged cars, construction work, buildings, bicycles, you name it, it was thrown at them.

"Do you even know where we're supposed to be going?" Soleil asked, clutching to the back of the car seats for safety.

"Of course not! I'm trying to go based off what I can see in Stars camera," Marco explained, squinting to see the background.
