The trial went a lot better than expected. Taejun's lawyer looked like a fool bringing Chan up as witness. There was an overwhelming amount of evidence to prove that Taejun and Dahyun were behind the breach and leaked confidential information and documents. They were also confirmed to be the ones that broke into Minho's home, and Taejun was also tried for drugging Minho.

They were both found guilty and find thirty million won each on top of their five year prison sentence. That was just their punishment from court, the victims of the breach were outraged and were all filing lawsuits against the duo for their personal information being leaked.

After their huge success, the boys all went out to celebrate. Chan paid for everyone's dinner. They stayed there until they were kicked out for being too noisy so they all went back to Chan's place. They didn't think it was appropriate to go back to Minho's place in their state since Hyerin was there with Lina.

"Ahhhh, this year has felt like hell!" Chan groaned tipsily, laying on the couch.

"You can say that again," Felix dragged his feet over to Chan and lay on top of him.

"Get off, I'm gonna die," Chan groaned.

"He's already asleep," Changbin laughed.

"Kim, please take your boyfriend away, I wanna live," Chan whined at Felix's deadweight.

"He's asleep too," Changbin giggled, walking over to Chan to pull Felix off him, "They staying here the night?"

"They can't exactly teleport home now can they, Seo?" Chan looked at Changbin with an obvious expression.

Changbin pulled a face and took Felix to a spare room, coming back for Seungmin too. Whilst he was doing that, Chan noticed that he hadn't seen Minho since they got to his place and went to look for him.

He looked around and found Minho in one of the spare rooms. He was sat on the edge of the bed with his head hung over. Chan knocked on the door, "Is everything okay? We're all waiting for you."

"He's leaving," Minho muttered.

"Who's leaving?" Chan asked with his brows narrowed.

"Hwang," Minho replied, "He's leaving me."

Chan looked at him in pity and sat next to him on the bed, placing a hand on his back comfortingly, "I don't think it has anything to do with you, Min. He has a little sister to care for. He needs to prioritise her and this job doesn't let him do that."

"But I trust him,"

Chan looked at his partner in pity. He understood where Minho was coming from, he wouldn't know what to do if someone he trusted and cared for so much suddenly decided to leave either.

"When is he going?" Chan asked.

"End of the month," Minho replied.

"You've still got a couple more weeks left then, right? Make the most out of it," Chan said, glancing out of the door in Hyunjin's direction. Even he was in a good mood after their win. They hadn't seen Hyunjin smile like that in a while.

"Yeah, I guess so.." Minho sighed then looked at Chan, "What about you?"

"What about me?"

"What happened between you and Yang?" Minho asked curiously.

"Ah, I don't think he wants to speak to me right now," Chan chuckled awkwardly and rubbed the back of his neck.

"I'd disagree," Minho said with a raised brow as he looked over at Jeongin standing by the door.

"Good luck," he whispered, patting Chan's arm before getting up to leave the two alone. By alone he actually just stood outside so he could overhear their conversation.

"What are you doing?" A voice asked from behind him causing him to jump.

"Oh, Hwang, it's you," Minho held his chest, "You scared me."

"You seen Yang anywhere? There's something I wanted to speak about with him," said Hyunjin.

"He just went in there with Chan," Minho replied.

"Why?"

"Probably to talk about what they are," said Minho, "Even I'm confused if they're a thing or not."

"Wait. I thought you two were..?" Hyunjin looked at Minho confused.

"You talking about last week?" Minho shook his head, "He was just drunk and upset that he didn't know what he was to Jeongin."

"Oh," Hyunjin nodded his head and the two stood in awkward silence for a moment before Hyunjin said, "I'm just gonna go to the bathroom. You might wanna save the lawyers from Seo throwing it back."

"Seo what?" Minho glanced over at drunk Changbin twerking on the top of the kitchen table, "Hey, get down from there, you're going to hurt yourself- Oh my god, I sound like Chan... BANG GET OUT HERE AND DEAL WITH YOUR DAMN KIDS."

After Hyunjin left the bathroom, he went to the kitchen to get some water when Chan approached him and asked if he knew where Minho was.

"Wasn't he just here a minute ago?" Hyunjin asked completely unbothered by the situation whilst Chan was worried out of his mind, "Calm down, old man, he probably just stepped out for some air."

"That's true," Chan agreed but Hyunjin could tell that he was still uncomfortable with the idea of Minho being out alone especially at night. He'd been paranoid ever since Minho got take a whole back.

Hyunjin sighed and said, "Don't worry, I'll go find him. You should probably get Felix down from there before he hurts himself."

Chan turned around to find Felix awake and having a whole rave on the kitchen counter. "WHY ARE YOU ALL LIKE THIS??" Chan yelled and ran over to get him down.

Hyunjin chuckled and left to look for Minho.

"Ah, Mr Park, is everything okay? I hope you're enjoying the celebrations, we couldn't have done it without you. Thank you," Chan smiled after he dealt with Felix when he was approached by Park Jihwan, but his smile soon faded when he saw the solemn look on the lawyer's face, "What's wrong?"

"I need to speak to you in private,"

//

"I know you're there," Minho said as he continued to walk ahead, "You've been following me for the past ten minutes. Just come walk beside me. We don't have to talk if you don't want to."

Hyunjin raised his brows, impressed that Minho had actually noticed him that whole time. He had been walking silently a few feet behind Minho just to make sure he was okay. He caught up to Minho, walking just behind him and they continued to walk without speaking.

"I forgot how peaceful the night is," Minho spoke softly, breaking the silence.

Hyunjin glanced over at the older looking up at the moon. His sharp features were outlined by the moonlight. There was something calm about him. Like the quiet after a storm.

"Hey, uh," Minho spoke and Hyunjin quickly looked away, hoping Minho didn't notice him staring, "It's Hyerin's birthday soon, right? I was thinking, if you don't have anything planned, we could all go to Jeju Island together. Hyerin would have fun, it's Chan's birthday too and I guess it would be nice for everyone to go out and enjoy themselves after everything that's happened over the past year."

"Besides," Minho looked at Hyunjin, his eyes glistening from the moon taking Hyunjin off guard and said, "I don't want you to leave me- us with only bad memories. You should have fun before you go."

Hyunjin felt his heart beat a little faster and his ears become warm. Shit. He couldn't feel this way. Especially not about Minho.

"Sounds good," said Hyunjin and the two continued their walk back home in silence, both glancing at each other without the other knowing. They really were just as clueless as each other.
