Minho had the doctors check Hyerin to make sure that she was okay to leave with him. The others were already at his place waiting for them to come over. After getting the all clear, Minho called his driver to take him and Hyerin back to his place.

Minho sighed and sank into his seat. He was so exhausted he couldn't wait to just go home and get into bed. He could only focus on going to bed and forgetting about that whole stupid day. He was going to wake up in the morning with a fresh start and think about where to go from there.

Just as he was about to doze off, he noticed Hyerin's head bent down. She must have been really tired too to have fallen asleep so fast.

Minho lifted her head so her neck wouldn't become sore but it just dropped again. The same thing happened the next three times he tried so he just ended up pulling her towards him and resting her head on his lap the rest of the journey.

"She's pretty sweet for such a tough child," the driver said, glancing through the rear view mirror.

"Yeah," Minho chuckled and thought to himself, 'Just like her brother.'

When they got back to Minho's place, he picked Hyerin up and carried her in. Chan was waiting for him on the sofa with a worried look and Minho immediately knew something was wrong.

He took Hyerin to a spare room and placed her in the middle of the bed, tucking her in before making his way back to Chan and asking what happened.

"They found Minwoo," Chan looked up at Minho, squeezing his mug tightly, "He's.."

"Ah, fuck," Minho sat next to Chan and put his head in his hands, "Just when I thought this day couldn't get any worse."

"I shouldn't have left him alone, Min," Chan said, staring ahead like he was in a state of shock, "I should've known something was going to happen after Felix..."

Minho placed his hand on Chan's and gave it a reassuring squeeze, "It's okay, Channie, it wasn't your fault. You gave that man a safe place to stay even though he could've been a suspect. Not many people would have done that."

Chan nodded slowly, "Yeah.. I guess you're right..."

"Come on," Minho said softly, helping Chan stand up and leading him to his room, "You need to get some rest. We'll deal with everything in the morning after you've gotten a good nights rest."

"Where are you going?" Minho asked after making sure Chan was okay. Changbin looked like he was getting ready to go out.

"I would've thought you'd want me to watch Hyunjin with everything that happened tonight," Changbin answered. Minho looked at him confused and told him that Seungmin was there to which Changbin replied, "You know how Seungmin feels about Felix, right? He's had a thing for him for like forever. He's in no state to watch anyone."

"Ah," Minho suddenly felt very guilty, "That's fine. Thank you for taking initiative. Remember to keep yourself safe and well too."

"Yes, sir," Changbin bowed and left, muttering to himself, "Lee Minho caring about others? Now I've seen it all."

After Changbin left, Minho sat on the sofa and lay back with his eyes shut. It didn't make sense. Hyunjin and Felix would be the key witnesses in the investigation to find the serial killer, yet they still had a chance at surviving. So why was Minwoo the only one to go? Unless-

//

"Mr Lee, what are you doing here at this time of night?"

"I think.. I think the serial killer is Choi Jungyu," Minho said out of breath. He had run to the police station the minute he remembered Minwoo speaking of why he was so scared of his older brother.

It made sense to Minho. Minwoo didn't go to the police because he was scared of his brother, but when he eventually gave his statement, he was gone. It must have been Jungyu.

The police officers at the station glanced at each other before looking at Minho and telling him that it couldn't have been Choi Jungyu because he was already arrested and had been in custody for separate offences.

"What..?"

No. There was no way Jungyu wasn't the killer. Minho was so sure. He had to be the killer. He had to. Because if he wasn't then that meant that the real killer was still on the loose and everyone that Minho cared about was still in danger.

"Look, kid, isn't your company still under a lot of pressure because of your mistake? I suggest you go deal with that and let us do our job and deal with this, okay? Now go home, it's late," one of the officers pat Minho's shoulder as he walked past him laughing.

"Fuck!" Minho yelled in frustration when he went outside, kicking a random wall as he went for a walk to calm down. As he continued to walk and the streets continued to get quieter and darker, Minho realised he was lost.

"Shit," he cursed under his breath and pulled out his phone to call his driver but there was no signal. Besides it was too late to call anyone so he put his phone back in his pocket and decided to walk back up the way he came and hopefully he could find some help. He wasn't too hopeful that anyone would still be awake though.

Just then someone grabbed him from behind and held a cloth over his face until he past put and stopped kicking and wiggling.

"Shit, he's feistier than I thought,"
